From the moment we walked in, we knew we were at the right spot. The place was keep clean, people seated at tables smiling, and quietly eating. We were told to find a seat. Which was easy there is a lot of seating at this place. One side of the building is the restaurant.The other side is a bar. The menus were simple. They had delicious choices throughout dinner, lunch, and breakfast. Our server Evi obviously knew what she was doing. She had a wonderful smile and personality that we all enjoyed. Knew the menu and offered suggestions. Was very sweet to our children and complimented my wife while joking with me. ( perfect service ). The food itself. ..well words cannot even begin describe how delicious everything was. From the french fries to the pancake from the hamburger to the patty melt. From the chili to the breakfast burrito. And let me tell you about that belgian waffle with blueberries and cream. 100% highly recommend. And will definitely return.

Love this place. I go to Toms a lot when I’m in town for drinks, great prices & great people. I’m from the uk and it reminds me of the pubs we have in England. Cool dive bar and their food is the bomb. I’ve ate there a few times and their burgers are great. Recently tried their breakfast and that’s 10/10 too, reminded me of a full English at home! Will be back 🤙

The best damn neighborhood bar in Portland. Whether you’re there at 7 AM, noon, 5 PM, or 2:15 in the morning, grab a drink, pull up a chair, maybe mess around on some billiards, for the analog patron, there’s pinball or skeeball for your arcade needs along with the digital and computerized parlor offerings, or maybe head out to the picnic tables on the front sidewalk and meet a local or 10 over a cigarette.. but something about this place makes the stressful workday seem to disappear and before you know it, you start to forget your worries for just a little bit and something happens that has happened to the thousands of patrons that have been coming here over the course of the decades that it’s been serving up drinks for Portland’s thirsty working class, and whether you’ve been here your whole life or just a few weeks, it just starts to feel a little something like home.
