Tope is a fantastic rooftop restaurant located at the top of The Hoxton Hotel in Portland's Chinatown. The flavors of the food will delight you, with a unique and elevated Mexican cuisine that includes dishes like al pastor served as a full pork chop and carne asada sliced like a steak. The presentations are not typical, and the cocktails, chips, salsa, and guacamole are flavorful. The atmosphere is great, with indoor seats by the windows offering a view from Union Station to Big Pink. Despite a minor issue with the waiter regarding separate billing, the overall experience is wonderful. Tope also accommodates various dietary restrictions and provides blankets on chilly evenings on the rooftop.
