The drinks where on point and the bar tender was amazing, but they have a theme. They don't keep to it at all. A few peices of memorabilia and a movie from the series playing but otherwise you wouldn't think it had a darn thing to do with Lord of the Rings. As a fan I came looking for the nerd experience. I was disappointed. For just a bar it's great, but I wasn't looking for just a bar.
Lots of beer choices plus some cider. Great, laid-back vibe, friendly bartenders, not too kitchy in the decor. Definitely recommend.
Parking: Typical downtown Portland. Pay to park somewhere or just take the Max.

I’m not a LoTR fan (don’t hate, no interest/never seen or read) so was a little hesitant, but am attending a week long work thing very nearby so gave it a shot. They’ve got a good beer list, staff is friendly. Solid choice in this neighborhood.
