“I went today with my friends for lunch. The food is amazing. Every single bite is good. The appetizer, main course and dessert are delicious. The server were friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Certainly will be back for other menu items. It’s certainly beyond and above my expectations about the taste and flavor.“

“The food was excellent and the service was friendly. But it is very loud in there, and because the tables are so close together, it was really distracting. There were three people at the table to my right in between the music that was in the background and the man to my right speaking so loudly and laughing so loudly, not only could I not hear my friend I was out to dinner with, but it literally felt like someone was shouting in my ear. My suggestion is to not play any music or to keep it soft, instrumental, and try not to have tables so close together. Other than that, everything was excellent.“

“I came here with my friend last night and it was bomb. I had the chicken shawarma and it was heavenly, and a huge amount of food. Certainly get what you pay for. I definitely recommend this place and plan on going back to try the Portland burrito and some of the appetizers!“

“Such a lovely neighborhood spot! We enjoy the food and our favorites are the menemen (warm egg and tomato dish that is so satisfying to eat with bread!) and the chef’s special (I forget the name of the dish but it’s beef on a bed of puréed charred eggplant with a delicious red sauce served with bread). The tantuni is not my favorite but perhaps it’s because I’m not very familiar with Turkish food- it seems like a classic Turkish dish, so I’d recommend just trying it if you haven’t before. We also tried the chicken fettuccine and beef carbonara and both are great and satisfying. Always love the Turkish tea in the cute glass tea cups. The people who own the restaurant are so kind and the service is warm and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and casual. Very family-friendly. It’s just a wonderful little spot that we are so grateful is in our neighborhood and owned by very nice people we’re happy to support!“

“Auf unserem Road Trip haben wir natürlich auch einen Besuch beim PDX Dönerländ gemacht. Und wir können dies nur weiter empfehlen. Der Döner war super lecker und die Besitzer total freundlich und haben sich auch Zeit für einen Klönschnack mit uns genommen.“

“I ordered from them and the customer service was very nice when I called in regarding my order. The star of the show was the lavash bread I ordered on the side. It looks and tastes like it was just baked in their kitchen. Everything is seasoned well, I hope others can try them out!“
