The food was decent. Service needs improvement. We didn’t get everything we ordered, but were charged for it, which was frustrating. To compound matters, they charged a 20% service fee, but they forgot to tell us. We ended up tipping 20% on top. Again, frustrating and borderline criminal.

This restaurant serves some of the best food I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and efficient, as well as seemed to genuinely enjoy working with one another. Not to mention I also had a fun time, great ambiance! The tasting menu was perfect and every dish was so beautifully curated. The orange blossom coriander ice cream with black lime caramel was literally the single greatest ice cream I have ever eaten and I fear I may spend the rest of my life in search of something equivalent… or maybe I’ll just have to make another trip to Portland for it. The Saved By Zero mocktail was also delightful. I don’t know their name but the server with red hair was fantastic and very kind, thank you so much!!

The food was really good. We did family style and the cheese dipper was for sure a hit for everyone.

The music was pretty loud and so it was hard to hear.

A masterful blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. We opted for the deluxe tasting experience, which allowed the chef complete creative freedom to send out a progression of dishes, each one thoughtful, balanced, and exciting. We added the halloumi and delicata squash dish, which was absolutely worth it, and the sommelier guided us to a bottle of wine that paired beautifully with the meal.
Cocktails were excellent. The Handsome Devil and an Old Fashioned made with Holiday Bourbon both stood out. The ambiance sealed the experience: sexy lighting, upbeat and fun music, and a perfectly calibrated noise level - lively and vibrant without ever feeling loud.
We’ll absolutely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends.

They really serve excellent food and amazing cocktails. Only three stars because it is quite loud inside and I really did not like the mandatory 20% service fee.

Lovely atmosphere and service. As someone who is GF, I can't believe we've never come here before - so many delicious veggie options. Very warm and cozy - perfect for a date night 💚

Wow. Best Mediterranean in Portland. The humus and bread are A MUST. The humus has some citrus flavor bursting , super tasty, and paired with the flat bread - you know you’re in for a treat.

We ordered the Beef Kebab and the Chicken Dish - both were just jaw dropping and bursting with flavor. I didn’t know Mediterranean could taste this good.

Not only did the beef kebab have an incredible “sauce” on it - it was cooked to perfection. We were ordered a few because they were so good.

The Chicken Dish (forgetting the name) was …. Special. Again, cooked to absolute perfection. The Honey glaze coating was delicious.

We had some beers and a gin based cocktail. The cocktail was great and made with care.

The staff were super friendly and funny. They were prompt and the food came really quick. We’re gonna be coming back.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by very friendly staff at the door, from the bar, and when we sat down. It felt like we were acknowledged and greeted by all the staff. It created a very warm welcoming, homey feeling.
Right away we were greeted by our server, she asked about drinks and we started there.. we asked a couple questions about the menu and the 3 of us discussed the menu. 2 of the 3 of us are pretty much vegetarians (1 on the omnivore fence too) so our meal was going to be pretty veggie forward. But alas that's not a problem with Tusk's menu.
Great menu selections to share items!
We had a variety of items and all were uniquely delicious.
From the gigante beans - wow, delicious. Kolrabi, pear, bergamot, tarragon dish- again delicious, interesting flavors, fun. Baked cheese with the warm flatbread- yum, could eat this every night, just yummy and cosy, delicious. The Brussels, avocado, lentils- fun chilled dish- very good and loved the crunch of lentils. We also had the spicy hot cherry sauce condiment and it really does go on everything so fun! And the chicken thighs entree with a light rice with pickled shallow and blistered green onion. Hit home, delicious, on a wet drizzly cool nite, could be my go too once a week.
We really enjoyed everything and wine! Who doesn't love a good Oregon wine to go their dishes. Great! Only thing we didn't care for was sitting on the enclosed patio. It would've been ok, if it wouldn't have been for a couple things. There were two separate large parties sat across from us, both trying to talk over one another so it was extremely loud in the tent and since it was raining, I was continuously getting a drip, drip, drip on me throughout our meal. Having to shift around every so often. We all remarked on the plates, the metal plates. Did not like them, felt cold, hospital plate and didn't go with the quality of your food. But your food is so delicious it would have been nice to have it shine and be see on a proper plate. Also to of gotten new, refreshed plates mid meal too. Overall, great food and next time in Portland will definitely come back.

Diverse food with good quality. Salads were too salty, but this was „to-share“ in large group.

Being a vegetarian, this place has plenty of vegetarian options which are flavorful.

Falafel and the friendly staff stole the show - you’d think it’s hard looking at the outside but it’s so airy and green from inside, absolute delight. The usual meat eaters in our company also chose Falafel over chicken (not to say that chicken wasn’t good - I heard it was good as well)

The staff needs a special shoutout - one of best services in PdX - the chef made the best desserts (and it was complimentary because we ordered almost everything on the menu) and the desserts were sooo good !

Ambience is simple but warm and inviting.

All in one, a nice dine out place with quality Mediterranean food in PDX.

We had a large group that sat outside on the patio. Plenty of heaters outside made it a very comfortable atmosphere in windy, wet Portland during fall and winter seasons.
Food menu offered a variety of options to satisfy those seeking healthy options or comfort foods. The cocktail menu is fun and unique, too!
