Great spot to run in and grab a variety of beer! Also good draft and a food cart outside with a vegan smash burger

The taplist here is pretty weak, and the $2 corkage fee is even weaker… never been to a place that charges more than $1 to literally crack open the beer for ya.Edit to respond to the owner : your cans are certainly priced higher than the to-go options.. a $2 corkage fee is overkill. Paying $10 for a canned brew is outrageous and that’s common knowledge.

Service is always lovely and the selection is really great! There is always something new to try, so many styles. We love to bring our little dog and hang out on the patio. Be aware there is somewhat limited parking!

Exceptional Brews and AtmosphereThis brewery exceeded all expectations and provided a truly exceptional experience. The staff at this brewery are not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable. Their passion for the craft is evident in every interaction, as they eagerly shared insights into the brewing process and offered thoughtful recommendations. It's clear that the team takes pride in their work and is dedicated to ensuring that every visitor has a top-notch experience. And, of course, the brews themselves are nothing short of exceptional. From crisp lagers to robust stouts, the variety and quality of the beer selection are truly impressive. Each brew is expertly crafted, showcasing a depth of flavor. The combination of great ambiance, knowledgeable staff, and outstanding brews makes it a must-visit for both seasoned beer enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. I left with a profound appreciation for the dedication and passion that goes into creating such a remarkable establishment. I wholeheartedly recommend this brewery to anyone looking for a 5-star experience in the heart of Portland's vibrant beer scene.

Fresh Hop season here in Portland has begun and Uptown Beer Co. had a great selection of every style of beer created with fresh hops on tap. This location on Scholls Ferry Rd has a casual roomy interior with walls lined with coolers filled with canned/bottled beers and ciders. Something amazing for everyone. Outside there are umbrella covered tables and tables under a tent. Dogs are welcome. Midcity Smashed burger is the food truck that is currently on rotation with smashed burgers that will not disappoint.

We’ve made Uptown a regular stop. Friendly environment, dogs are welcome and there’s a great selection on tap and in the coolers. Plenty to choose from, and having Midcity Smashburger on property doesn’t hurt. Fun stop.

Beer, beer and more beer. Great selection. Smash burgers were good. Outside seating is perfect.

Always find something tasty on tap. My family often rides our bikes here for a beer and play some games, order snacks from the food cart.

Good drinks, good atmosphere, parking can be hit or miss during happy hour, but a block away is plenty of street parking. The patio seating is great and dog friendly. Burger truck serves smash burgers.

I went here regularly for a while and my only complaint was that their beer was not very good.Things started changing. Employee turnover rocketed, and it seemed there was a new person every two to four weeks. The majority of new employees were terrible or with a complete lack of interest in their job.On New Year’s Day they charged me $100 for their mug club, which I was not a part of. I went in to ask for my money back, and an owner told me he didn’t know who I was, so no. Luckily there was an employee present, a good one, and he took care of it. It turned out that they wrote down people’s credit card information on a sheet of paper, and that’s why they were able to “charge” me. I used quotes since that course of actions is clearly organized theft.Another time an employee came out to grab pint glasses. They weren’t empty, so he tossed beer toward the parking lot without looking, and it went all over a patron. The patron was flabbergasted. The employee provided a minimal apology, if it even was an apology. If they have improved, great, but after credit card theft and tossing beer on patrons, amongst a few other things, I’m done.

Fantastic selection on tap and even better hard to find/obscure choices in the cooler. Dogs welcome and outdoor seating too!

Their digital sign says one price for their beer $6 but when you pay your tab. It's actually $7 yes it's that kind of place.
