We messed up and we’re late checking out. The women at the front desk called our phone. She was not pleasant nor happy at all about us being late to check out. I said, “so sorry! We will be out of here asap! Our fault!” She was pi$$ed and told us that we would be charged a late checkout fee. $25 and so I asked her how much time that late checkout gave us. She with the rudest dismissive unapologetic tone said, “5 minutes ago”and told me they would charge me multiple times if I wasn’t fast. This was all completely unacceptable and unnecessary. We had stayed there 6 days and were nothing but friendly. That women was nasty and soured our whole trip. I understand needing to get the room cleaned but come on! (The cleaning lady knocked the previous four days around 4-5PM to see if we needed anything so we definitely weren’t holding anybody up. This was at 11:15AM when we got out of there around 11:45-11:50 the cleaning lady had 10 rooms until she was at ours…) idk why this demon girl was in such a bad mood or why she had it out for us. But, who knows prolly just brought her hate to work that day. Yuck! Staff needs to take a deep breath and learn to talk to paying guests appropriately… she wanted a fight.
We needed a place to stay in the area that was affordable, kinda close to the airport and clean. This checked all those boxes. I would consider staying again next time I need a room before a flight.
Best old style motel I've ever stayed at. Room was very clean and comfortable. Young man at front desk extremely nice and welcoming. If I had to say something I didn't like, it would be the space at the bathroom sink, there wasn't any. Great
Very clean and well maintained. Respectful hotel for the area. Great prices for the space. I've stayed here 5 times or so and will come back.
Stayed here twice. Great rates, clean rooms, and we got pretty good service, too. The parking lot is a bit tight. I didn't like the extra $20 added for my extra person (my son), but even with that, the price was not too bad. The location is only about 10 minutes from the airport, which is nice too. I'm definitely going to stay again.
Staff is very polite and helpful! Room's were clean and well designed, loved the coffered accent wall! Bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was the best I have ever seen in a hotel!!!
Great customer service and really nice stay. Privately owned and not a big chain. Competitive rate and you get a full size fridge and even a stove! We stayed in the 2 Queen suite which had 2 separate rooms. It was like a small house! It was clean and had plenty of towels. It is the perfect spot to explore Portland from. Grabbed one of their cards and will stay again!
Charged me $53.00 for three dirty towels.... The cheapest white towels they claimed are the best highest quality. Watch out anyone leaving a cash deposit it's a racket they will do whatever they can to try to get your cash!!!!
For the price, it's unbeatable.Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly clean and well maintained room.Cons: Very very little if anything. I'd have to be uncomfortably picky. Again, for what it is it's actually surprisingly good. The only complaint you could make would be around the lack of certain amenities like a swimming pool, but it's just not that sort of hotel really. If you're looking for a cheap place to sleep while you're in Portland temporarily, while you're in transition between homes, or whatever, not for a resort experience, then this place is worth well more than the price suggests. Also, minutes from the airport (I know, I worked there while staying here; it's less than 8 minutes to the passenger loading or parking areas of PDX with normal morning traffic, less if you're an early bird). This place punches well above its weight, so to speak. VERY well done!
Friendly bartender and cheap drinks. Not much else..

It doesn't go without saying you get what you pay for. With that being said this place actually exceeded our expectations. Front desk was phenomenal along with the housekeeping. Everything was functional in the room and it was actually really clean too. Plenty channels to choose from with free wifi. The only questionable part is the area it's located in which is out of their control. The lot is extremely well lit to provide comfort. Bit noisy from the road but the coffee place across the street is something else. We have no issues or complaints whatsoever.
