The new owners are incredibly friendly and expedient. The wind selection is fantastic and the appetizer selection was fresh and generous. We had so much fun exploring a few wines and eating 3 appetizers and didn't need to go to dinner after all. Thank you!

This is our favorite wine bar in PDX. What makes it special is the low key and comfortable atmosphere, with personable service we haven’t found any place else. The owners are helpful in assisting you with wine selections, whether you try a flight, or by the glass, or purchasing a bottle.We appreciate their unpretentious attitude.

Almost every wine here is delicious, depending on your taste preference. Who ever curates these wines know what they are doing! The snack plates are tasty as well. We've come back several times!!

It takes opening the door only to be transported from an average Portland street to a fine-lounge-in-France ambiance, complete with art exhibits by local artists. Vino Veritas has an impressive wine selection on the menu, and even more so by the bottle. Impressive not necessarily in sheer number, but in quality-for-the-price factor. Clearly, the owners are very selective and know their wines! Not to mention that the cheese or charcuterie boards are so full of unique flavors, you'll wonder how you got away with paying 14/28 bucks only. In one word - a fine gem in an unassuming part of town.

My wife and I spent New Year’s Eve at Vino Veritas and were absolutely blown away. An intimate venue with an amazing selection of high quality wines. This gem is the best wine bar I have ever been to. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable about every wine they pour. They understand the nuances of each varietal and are no doubt passionate about their craft. Vino Veritas is the standard by which you should judge all wine bars.
