The interior is a little rough around the edges, and could use some TLC and more frequent wiping down, but the pizza and the beer here are both spot on! I can deal with a little grunge and grime around the edges when the pie is this good! Location is nice as well, and no complaints about the employees or the service, either.

Great pizza and even better beer. The Volatile Substance is my go to IPA in PDX.

Great pizza, great beer. It took 16 minutes to get my beer after I ordered it, and my pizza was given away to someone else. They did refund of 1/3 of my money and gave me a smaller pizza with different toppings than originally ordered. They gave me the option to wait an additional 20 mins for the correct pizza being made by an angry employee, but I did not have time.

The food and beer are okay, but I was just served a very oddly shaped slice that was pretty damn small and definitely over re-heated... lots and lots of black char. Will not be coming back.

This was my 2nd time visiting this restaurant but my first time in several years. I came in during my lunch break and saw they had a lunch special menu that consisted of 2 different options, both for $13. The first option was 2 slices plus a pint of beer. The second option was 1 slice, side salad and a pint of beer.Typically this sounds great, for a weekend menu, but most people don't want beer when they are on their lunch break so I asked if there was a lunch menu option that included soda instead of beer. They seemed a bit confused but then said "yes, but it wouldn't effect the price that much." I said ok and ordered my lunch of 1 slice, side salad and soda.Well the price came out to $13 so I paid it and didn't worry too much about it (since it's not a offered item). Also, it did not give me an option to tip so I paid the $13 and found a seat.Next thing I know I get a alert from my credit card company (I get notifications for all charges) that I was charged $14.95 which happens to be $13 + a 15% tip (that I did not authorize).Additionally, the establishment was playing music at a ridiculously high level. So much so, that it was annoying the other patrons as well.I chose not to question the no soda option for a lunch special, the lack of price adjustment for getting the soda, the auto tip that they seem to charge, nor the exceptionally loud music. I chose to let it all slide as it was pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. I have chosen to not patron this location however.

I was shopping in this area alone and wasn't sure where to eat lunch when I noticed this Von Ebert location (I didn't know they had a spot in Cascade Station but was super pleased). I love their beer, and that was truly the only reason I decided to eat here.Upon entering, I noticed that here they specialize in pizza, but not really wanting a pie I opted for the Pesto Italian sandwich with a side salad. I paired it with a pint of Volatile Substance IPA and grabbed a table. My salad was delivered and the Sherry Vinaigrette dressing was delicious. Then the sandwich showed up, and holy cow, it was HUGE. The focaccia bread was crispy, the fillings delightful, and the cheese melty. I was only able to eat just more than half, so I took the rest home to enjoy the next day.The service was great, the atmosphere was excellent, and the beer top notch. I even bought a few 4-packs to take home.I will definitely be back to try the pizza on a different day. I love supporting truly local breweries, and Von Ebert is no exception. Cheers!

This outpost appears to be management's red-headed stepchild; unscheduled closures, 86ed menu items, and halfhearted service are frequent experiences here. Supercenter/strip-mall atmosphere is not a draw, either, but the beer is to a high standard and it's close to the MAX.

Came here kind of on a whim on the way back from the airport. The pizza crust was thin, chewy, and delicious! The slice of the day (sassy margherita) was great as well.
