Voodoo Doughnut is all about the fun and quirky vibe. With bold decor and wildly creative doughnuts topped with everything from cereal to bacon, it’s a must-see stop for Portland visitors. The experience is memorable and playful, though the actual taste of the doughnuts may not quite match their eye-catching presentation. Still, it’s a unique spot that’s worth checking out at least once.

This place is 50% vibe, 50% no nonsense sugar. We shared a banana cream doughnut and loved it. The sugar crash is real, but worth it. Counter people are chill and patient, and I suspect they stay sane with a strong secret Counter People Culture (the way they smile ;-) (see how I avoided saying counter-culture??)

A must visit in Portland due to its reputation. Service was quick and easy. Selection was huge, making it hard to decide. Donuts were tasty, but I was not overwhelmed, and they didn't live up to the hype. They were good, but I would not rate them better than any of the other donut shops nearby. The uniqueness in variety is what makes this place special.
