This place is for people who want to eat on the street or take the doughnuts home as seating is limited. But the ? are the best I've ever had and no other place is like this one. If you love doughnuts, you'll love this place. It's a must eat.

Honestly, exactly the same as the Denver airport but with all the ambiance of homelessness.

came here on a weekend so there was a line but it moved pretty smoothly and they manage their customers very well. the service is great, the staff is very helpful and sweet! the only reason why this place gets a 3 instead of a 4 is because the donuts are just ok. we got a dozen and tried a bunch of different flavors and i found them to be a bit subpar & a bit on the pricier side-just really sweet for the most part. i really did like the maple bacon and the banana cream though so i highly recommend those otherwise, the other donuts were unremarkable...

I was ready to not be impressed with this place. I've seen so many Instagram posts about it, figured it was overhyped. Really pleased to discover I was wrong. Excellent doughnuts, tasty, and creative. The staff was very patient with our slow deciding group. Lots of love.

I am not a donut fan, but damn these are good!. I really am not a fan of the fried, staple krispy kreme donut, but these are fluffy, cakey and doesn't hurt your teeth when you bite into it.I got a Homer Simpson donut, it was great.I came in around 8:30am, there was homeless people all over the place but the kind security guard was surprisingly helpful? The part I did not like was there are NO SEATING available. I only caps this so people know, as I didn't. I chose to not get a coffee because I wanted to sit and drink. The absolutely lovely cashier informed me of a close by coffee shop, in the kindest voice. I was surprised to see her be so forgiving, I thought she'd be annoyed, as if every tourist says the same thing.I took my donut out, took a couple of photos and went on my way.Price was totally reasonable for a trendy, tourist place. Cost me $7 CAD for 2 donuts.

Super touristy but worth the hype. Experimental donuts that are huge, delicious, and fun. No atmosphere, really. Service is super transactional- only one person allowed in the store at a time. But get in line - they’re good donuts!

This place used to be a landmark in Portland. A place for the weird rebels of Portland to come together and celebrate with donuts. Now it’s a sterile donut shop where they only let one guest in a time for “safety”. Now I wouldn’t leave a bad review for a Dunkin or Krispey Kreme making this cowardly policy to protect corporate interests, but not the punk rock Mecca that used to be Voodoo Donuts. With mediocre service a security guard protecting a place with minimal cash, and goods that cost nickels to produce.I never thought I’d stop coming here but I can’t support a mediocre donut shop who let a sweet old woman with a cane stand outside in the cold at noon on a Wednesday so they could keep the inside to one patron at a time.Last note, when asked about why only one group in at a time we were told by the girl at the front that it’s cuz she was the only one in the store. I PERSONALLY saw 3 bakers and an armed security guard at the door. Why lie, why not be honest and say the real reason your store chose this policyGet back to your punk rock roots and help your city or take down all your branding cuz y’all are fake poseurs using the punk anti establishment movement to push donuts… embarrassing what you’ve becomeStay weird Portland

While In the city, I HAD to stop here. I came at around 8am on a Monday, so there was no line at all. I got their famous Homer, Voodoo doll, Dirt, etc. doughnuts, they were delicious. Our cashier gave us an extra doughnut because one of the doughnuts was smaller, which was really nice of her. The place is in a sketchy location, so be prepared and safe. Overall, do recommend!
