A tour and tasting at Westward is a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours. Our group of 4 learned a lot on the tour and Westward was generous with the tasting flight that followed, adding a few extra pours for fun. This company is vibrant and innovative and made the experience fun and unpretentious.
Super fun and informative tour and the whiskey is top notch!
Wonderful experience. Thank you so much to the staff on hand (I think the manager was Hannah?) when we came in to try your flights. Well taken care of, and we got to experience some new whiskeys we're excited to take home and try again. Thanks for the great time!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Before walking into this westward whiskey , my entire week had been rough—stressful, exhausting, just bad all around. But then I met Colleen She was very knowledgeable about the whole establishment I knew she was amazing. From the moment she greeted everyone that was coming in , her energy changed everything. She’s warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about people. Her service was flawless, her recommendations were on point, and her vibe lifted my whole spirit. Colleen didn’t just serve whiskey—she served peace, good conversation, and the reminder that good people still exist. Thank you for the great service
Me and my wife will be coming back!
Love everything about the Westward Whiskey family. I've been a member since the pandemic. Stumbled in to buy a couple bottles for a friend's bday and ended up becoming a member. From their tours, events and tasting room, everything is enjoyable. I really appreciate how creative they have gotten with their collaborations. I find some of their whiskey to be a weee bit sweet, but not in a bad way, rather in the way where it generally doesn't burn, making it a good place for people who aren't whiskey people but want to dip their toes in. All that said, if you want hot whiskey, or just a solid whiskey without the aging flare, they have that too...and it's good.
I never leave reviews but I feel like I need to for this experience. Excellent whiskey and even better customer service. Beeb (I may be spelling this wrong) was incredible and made my experience top notch. She was awesome! Will definitely bring some friends next time I’m in Portland.
Went for a networking event. Cocktails were top notch. Stellar Old Fashions.
Had an absolute blast at Westward. I got lucky and no one else was on my tour. Reilly was the guide and was friendly and let me geek out on the process to make whiskey. I highly recommend and will be looking for this in stores from here on out (I live out of state).
I've been a club member for 2 years and I can't say enough good things about Westward. They're making the best American Single Malt whiskey in the county, and some of the best single malt whiskey in the world. On top of that, they're always hosting cool events, both on site and various locally based businesses around NW Oregon. The expanding single barrel program is also something to get excited about. If you like whiskey, you'll almost certainly find something that you love at Westward.

I brought my family (party of 8) to Westward yesterday, Dec 29. They were able accommodate the size of my group and we had the tour to ourselves. Riley educated us on Westward’s process, history and was able to answer all of our questions. You can tell they are really passionate and proud of the whiskey they make. In the tasting room, Dorothy took care of us and was able to answer any additional questions we had.
While it was unfortunate they were out of soda to make mock tails, the quality of the tour and customer service made it enjoyable. I would definitely do the tour again! Thanks Dorothy and Riley for the great customer service!

Visiting from Australia and we had a great time at the distillery. Every single team member was friendly and insightful. We shared some of our favourite Aussie Whiskey with everyone and in turn we were treated to some special whiskeys from you. Would love to visit again in the future and can't wait till we get some more special releases sent to Australia.

The tour was a fun and informative experience. As a newer whiskey drinker I felt welcomed to ask questions and left with a pretty good understanding of how their whiskey is made! Loved that we were able to taste things along the way, too. Finally, we were very impressed with the whiskey flight at the end. 100% recommended to anyone interested in whiskey.
