What a unique spot to the side of OX restaurant. I was here with a friend to get drinks and had the most amazing time. Excellent service that’s super friendly and made us comfortable in a space that could’ve been easily very pretentious. The drinks are delicious, I had the nonalcoholic cocktail which was yum. The outdoor seating is incredible especially on a propane summer day.

The Ox is probably our favorite restaurant. It seems there is some sort of magic there, the food and drinks are always the best we have ever had and the atmosphere and service couldn't be better either!!!

A great place to grab a drink while you wait for a table at Ox next door. They have delicious cocktails and a patio with umbrellas.

When the mister and I go out, we go all out. Dates last multiple hours and include lots of good food and cocktails. Or, with Whey Bar, is an easy way to make that happen. You can get to Ox as early as 4pm, give them your name, and head right over to Whey Bar for cocktails and appetizers for an hour. That's just what we did and had a great time. We both ordered one of our favorite cocktails this fabulous city has to offer, the Bob Ross' Happy Tree. The amazing combination of gin and fernet is something I've never had anywhere else, and the drink just works. The first time I ordered one was Valentine's Day and I was smitten. Now that I was back on this very warm day in May, it could not have been a more perfect fit. I've tried other cocktails at Ox and Whey Bar and while they are all great, none can compare to this beauty. Whey Bar also offers oysters you can buy individually, which we did. There's always an offering of three different types. We are in no way oyster connoisseurs, so we asked our lovely server for her recommendation for the optional accompaniments, and she recommended none of them if we really wanted to taste the oyster. We obliged, realizing we'd never had just straight raw oysters. So glad we did. They were all so unique and tasting them on their own back to back really allowed us to understand the differences. Yum! The perfect amuse buche to what will surely be a heavy meal. All of the women running the bar were great. Super friendly and helpful, and totally understood that we wanted to pace ourselves since we planned in drinking and eating so much inside Ox. All in all, worried about the wait at Ox? Don't be. This is a great place to spend some time with your party. You won't even feel like your waiting.

Very nice but microscopically small. It's hard to get comfortable when you have a stranger sitting on your lap.
