More like Gee Whiz!
One of THE best places to get a Philly in Portland!Steakadilphia get out the way, this place has got your number!!
Best house made whiz I've had. Right amount of onions, perfectly cooked.
Thinly sliced tender cheesesteak, tons of flavor from the whiz sauce and peppers I added to the basic philly. I love places you can order ahead too, so it was pretty much ready when I arrived! Def on the spendier side but the cheesesteak was literally HUGE!
It's fine. I would stop if I was walking by and hungry but would I go out of my way as my initial trip...don't think so. Meat to bread ratio favored the bread: see pic below. Their social media is funny though
Without a doubt the best cheesesteak in Portland. The superior quality of the meat and bread cannot be matched. The price also destroys the competition. Surprising that this place hasn’t been blown up by food network and tourists yet..
Zero peppers or onions. Only impossible ground beef, tastes terrible do NOT recommend
Really tasty vegan option, but I'd recommend skipping the cashew cheese. It's really lacking flavor, was grainy and had a tomato taste to it. I think next time I'll just put my own vegan cheese on it after I get home.
Delicious! The homemade cheese whiz is something special.
Great, straightforward cheesesteaks. Perfectly seasoned grass fed beef. I got the Jawn. Basically, cheesesteaks with pickled hot peppers. Solid, but I was hoping for more cheese on my CHEESEsteak. Maybe ask for double cheese for the best experience. Definitely recommend.

1 star 2/21/2021- About 10 people waiting... took 45 minutes to get. Ordered fries with whiz, didn’t get any. As far as the sandwich.... whiz cheese grainy, barely any on the sandwich, no flavor... did they put on the vegan whiz instead? Meat had no seasoning, and dry... was overall, just blah. Was hoping for the best since these dudes are apparently from Philly...3 star update 2/22/2021- Giving It another go. I am a huge supporter of small businesses, and the owner was super cool, and is addressing the issue. We’ll rate the second go around soon!
Definitely one of the best Philly cheesesteaks in town. You can definitely taste the quality of beef compared to some of the other cheesesteaks in town. Their house whiz has a great texture and consistency to it. I was able to try a few of the sandwiches- the cheesesteak, the jabroni (tomato sauce based), and the BDN (bacon, fried onions, hot peppers, mushrooms, and house whiz). The BDN was probably the favorite out of the three. The Jawn Fries (chopped steak, fried onions, hot peppers, and house whiz) were a great side to go with the sandwiches. Overall, great food, but can get busy quick.
One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had in Portland. Not a whiz guy so I can’t comment on that, but the provolone wit was great
Just like Philly. Order online. They are busy for a reason. Delicious.
Best cheesesteak this side of the Mississippi. The Jawn is a revelation.
