Stopped by Wild Child Pizza and honestly… this might be the best Detroit style pizza I’ve had in Portland.
The crust was exactly what you want crispy, cheesy edges with a soft, airy inside. Every bite had that perfect balance of crunch and fluff. The sauce was super flavorful without overpowering the pizza, and the toppings were fresh and generous.
It actually reminded me of Jet’s Pizza, but I’d say this was even better. You can tell there’s real attention to detail here.
Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. If you’re into Detroit-style pizza, this place is a must try. Screw the haters in the comments

I typically like thin crust pizza, but this thicker Detroit style pizza was delicious-we had the supreme and loved it! The atmosphere is fun and sort of has a nostalgic 70's basement rec. room feel with the pool tables and eclectic memorabilia. It's a good place to grab a beer and pizza and maybe play some pool. I can see it being busy on the weekends with young people. The staff were friendly too, I would say the guys more than the woman for sure.

I wished I liked this, but it’s a lot of dense bread and every part of it is intensely salty, with spicy red sauce that seems to be trying very hard. My child flatly refused to eat it, which is newsworthy. I don’t drink, but I think this pizza might be built to sell beer.

Most incredible pizza I’ve ever had. That goes without saying I loooove Detroit style pizza. Just get the classic pepperoni and cheese. They are S tier pizza. Their Caesar salad is incredible. The only thing I find that could be improved about wild child is that you can’t order by the slice online or over the phone, you have to walk in and order in person and wait in the restaurant to take it home.
