I have been here several times and loved it. This time I have to admit I was disappointed with the Teriyaki Salmon. Very dry and not much sauce ?

The best "Monkey Brains" in town. The portions are sensible and good food.

The food was good. Not great. The service was a bit slow. This was my first sushi restaurant in Portland. I will try others before I return here.

Great service with fresh sushi but cold miso. Also a bit pricey.

Just wOw! The place was empty when I walked in, maybe in a bad location?!? Ate here on a Tuesday night while visiting town. I haven't had fried oysters in such a long time that I had to go for it since they were on the menu! Fat with belly's and crispy, just like back in NE! Great job with that item. Then I was torn between which roll to try so I got the Salmon lover which had smoked salmon on the outside which I wasn't used too and it was cooked to perfection, with amazing flavor. And also got something called the Incredible Hulk! Packed with protein too! Salmon, crab, roe eggs and quac wrapped in Soy paper! I want to take a nap now the food w's so delicious I couldn't waste a bite! If everything on the menu is this favorable it's hard to believe this place is only 3.5 star average. I would eat here again, like maybe in an hour or for breakfast LOLOL TY for the outstanding meal and service!

Best Chirashi I had in Portland. The fish is fresh and cut right. The rice was perfect. Sushi chef in Japan starts learning how to cook rice in first 2-3 years.

Very good food. Always larger than expected portions so I always have to take some home after. The waiters have great observational skills, and the mood and atmosphere of the restaurant is always very cozy and lively.

Decent food, good service. Was disappointed to be seated next to a woman who had a yippy dog in a carrier with her.

Good place, worth a stop in, if you are near here

I heard good things about this place, until I was treated like a criminal... I came in to dine with my wife and kids, the hostess was very friendly and we were excited to eat here. The food was great and service was quick. This is where things got weird. I paid for the meal and all of us needed to use the restroom before we left. My wife and kids finished up before me and headed out to wait in the car. As I was coming out of the restroom and walking towards the exit, I was confronted by a gentleman that emerged from the kitchen. He stopped me and asked me why I was in the bathroom so long, he also asked me if I paid for my meal! SERIOUSLY!?!?! I am NOT drug addict or a thief. I am clean cut and was dressed up in a designer clothes, (did I look like Scarface?) The hostess then came up to the gentleman and vouched for us. I have NEVER been profiled like this in my entire life! The food was good, but not good enough to be treated like a convicted felon, especially when I am out to eat with my family.

I enjoyed the quite atmosphere but the food was delicious. Not a high end sushi joint but neither are the prices. The staff was polite and attentive. I will be recommending this place to all of my close friends.

Of all the sushi restaurants I've been to, Wild Wasabe is probably the best sushi I've had in Portland. Service was always great and the food was always delicious! Their drinks were lovely too!
