Wowza! We've been coming for 3 years whenever we need a nice night out, and are never disappointed. However, this evening somehow seemed especially enjoyable. Our cocktails, starters, entrees, server Joanne, live jazz with guest flutist, all were top-notch. It was so fabulous that we even wondered if they added a new chef or manager or magic water or something, haha! Truly a memorable experience -- of course we'll return for more chances to be wowed!
Took some out of town business colleagues there since one of them was catching a train later in the evening. Half the group was from NYC and the other half from SF. It was phenomenal! We all greatly appreciated the old-school vibe of the interior, the incredible service from John the PRO waiter, and fantastic cocktails, entrees, and desserts. Overall, amazing!
We went for the jazz, and ended up very impressed by the food as well as the jazz! This is definitely an old school jazz supper club kind of place, and although the room may be a bit worn, the nostalgic feel is hard to find these days. They promote table-side offerings, and we were particularly impressed by the flavor of the caesar salad prepared in front of us—excellent. My companions raved about the lamb and cioppino.
