Special Urban Winery I love William Marie Wines! Can you say SYRAH? Ed Lefferts is the winemaker and does a great job sourcing his grapes from Washington and making distinctive wines. It's nice to have a selection specific to that area. Big fan!

Excellent wine! My personal favorite is the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon- full bodied and simply delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of their selections. I highly recommend William Marie Wines!

Ruse makes great beer and their new place in an off-the-beaten-path building is great. Go there, talk to local Portlanders who likely live in the neighborhood, and drink really great beer. Bring your own food if you're hungry though. Beer only.

The 2015 Syrah from William Marie Wines was a beautiful combination of powerful fruit and tempered winemaking. The result was an excellent example of what the grape can become. The richness that I love was buoyed by layers and nuances a grizzled veteran winemaker would be proud of. This winery is a real up and comer. I used the term was above because I couldn't keep my hands off the bottles I bought to lay down. I had to...life is uncertain...B
