Wow, this place is great! Ordered the 3 meat tray, which came with the brisket burger (uber eats deal), along with a side of Cole slaw. We chose burnt ends, ribs, and the smoked chicken with beans and Mac & cheese. Literally everything was made perfectly which is hard to say when ordering bbq here in Portland.
Def will be ordering again.

This place is great. I wish I could frequent it more often to see if they are consistent or if I’ve just gotten lucky.
However, the two times I’ve visited the food has been fantastic, and served up relatively quickly. Each time it was for a specialty sandwich week, so I need to stop by on an average weekday to get a better baseline.
This is a food cart and part of a small pod that’s well maintained, even if it’s not much to look at. It’s right next to the Bye and Bye, where you can get a drink and sit in their patio space, as long as there’s room.
I look forward to trying more of their menu as I get time for that.

I’m really disappointed in the final results of my brisket order. The meat was extremely DRY. I expected great meat for a place that has a BBQ sign on their window. The good things about this place is that their sauce is spicy and their sides were delicious. Unfortunately, I likely will not return.

I love this food cart! It´s literally the best sandwich I´ve ever eaten, but you will need plenty of napkins! All of the sauces are fantastic, and they make their own pickles, which really add a lot.
The size of the platter was great. Mac n cheese was delicious. But the meat fell short. I got the brisket and ribs. It was very dry and leathery and difficult to cut through despite being slathered in a mass amount of very sugary bbq sauce. I tried all their sauces and none of them were good. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Oh my goodness Wonderboy’s is good! We had a Taco with Brisket, Burnt Ends, and the Beeferton Cheese Steak. All of it was fantastic. The brisket fell apart in the your mouth and the flavor was perfect. All the fresh elements complimented the heavy element deliciously. The Mac and Cheese was Bomb! I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. We devoured it 🤣 Of you are in Portland or in the neighborhood definitely stop by and give Wonderboy’s Smokestack a try! It is well worth it!

Terrible uber eats experience… first off, they package all of your food together in a single tray. Because of this, the potato salad I ordered arrived warm (gross) and also my tortilla chips for my chips and queso were soft because of the steam from the hot food and the grease from the burnt ends. Speaking of the burnt ends, these were by far the worst burnt ends I’ve ever had. They were dry and hard as a rock. It was like eating chunks of beef jerky and was seriously terrible. Maybe the food’s better if you go in person, but I absolutely would not order from them again. Please rethink how you package your food for delivery and maybe don’t make your burnt ends dry and rock hard?
