Food did not taste fresh! Pork Chow Mien had no pork to be found so maybe it pork flavored. Fried shrimp was mostly breading. Pork fried rice was white rice with tiny pieces of pork that was very very very tough. Sweet and Sour pork was lots of breading with small pieces of tough pork. This was absolutely the worst place we have been to.

This was the nastiest, weirdest, most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had in life

I would definitely come back...if it were not for the trimet service in this area...buses only run every 47 minutes to 82 ave...(got my food and even though having a container that keeps food hot ..it was cold by the time the bus got there)....making it very inconvenient...
But ya it was really good food....

Went in for the first time today and got take out. Got 2 items and paid vary good prices for the portions received. They said it would take 10 minutes and I was out of there in 5 mins. Very excellent service and speed for some good tasting food.

One of the best American style Chinese food joints in the area. Great service always, family-friendly and large portions.

Great portions, if you stop by for the lunch special they give you a lot!

Is Chinese food is good! The staff seems very kind and attentive. It has video poker and that's great if you like it. However and also brings in certain clientele. In particular people experiencing homelessness and it can feel a bit unsafe in the area depending on your time of day. Absolutely wonderful for takeout however!

I like shrimp fried rice. Fair price.

Super expensive. 90 bucks for 4 people had only the dinner menu option because it was Xmas eve I'm guessing. They separated all the sauces from the entrees like we asked so nothing got soggy on our drive home. The food is and always has been by far the best Chinese food in town it's not greasy it's not gross the batter is super fluffy and has a bit of crunch to it easily can be cooked in the air fryer if you'd like it a little bit more crunchy or just ask them to cook it more for you they will. The friars are clean all their food therefore taste clean. Under the battery of the chicken if you see it which is unlikely cuz you'll be stuck in your face with it you'll see that every piece is a good piece of all white chicken no fat no gross gristle no tough parts. It's really good quality. I can't overstate how good it is and this is coming from someone who really doesn't like Chinese food. I only ever like it from here. We go to the one on Woodstock. There's also one in Milwaukie . I find the food delicious at both the phone call service at Milwaukie might be a little bit better, maybe that's just like nitpicking though. And yes it was expensive but let me tell you the bag of food we got?! It had to have weighed like 50 lbs! I had three boys eating with me and a surprise guest and we still have leftovers for days and not because we didn't need it because we stuffed ourselves it was just so much food that was given to us. Always recommend this place whenever anyone asked me a good Chinese restaurant and will continue to do so.

Lunch specials, great price, lots of food. The rice and chow mein was very dry, food very salty. I will probably try other restaurants in area first before I go back

Decent Chinese American with good portions. I enjoyed the General Tso and shrimp was fried well. Nothing tastes overly greasy and it was a good price for what we received. Definitely a nice spot for some comfort Chinese American food!

This spot is always reliable and service is always wonderful. Food is good, but I go because it's never bad! Really love the crab puffs, sweet and sour pork and rice is consistently cooked perfectly.
