Spicy vegan fresh! Delicious and comforting on a rainy day to have a hot noodle soup.

It's a nice place, cute area. But the food didnt have the best flavor tbh, the brisket in the pho was really tough, and my spicy vegan soup wasn't really spicy.

We had plans for a new Vietnamese soup place but found out - the day of - that they are only open until the soup is gone, and that is around 3 pm...and none of us could get to dinner before 6 pm, so we got lucky and found XinhXinh! 1) The customer service is outstanding! I wanted extra peanut sauce and they gave that to me, free of charge. 2) The food is fantastic! 3) Small place but was big enough for us 8. 4) Clean and easy street parking I ordered the spring rolls and sweet potato fries. Both delicious. I know, I know, I could get sweet potato fries any time - but it's what I was craving. My mistake was not ordering the bowls, like my friends did. Photos attached. A photo is worth a thousand words.

Great spot for a good meals (vegans included!). Although there menu isn't huge, they offer a variety of dishes, and the good news is: there's a vegan alternative for most of them! You order at the counter here and they bring the food to you. Service is really nice. I came in a large group and ordered a variety of things, with potstickers, steamed buns, and the wow wow wings for appetizers. The wings were saucy and came either regular or spicy, which I loved. The steamed buns were huge, the buns were soft, and the filling was generous. Out of all the appetizers, I thought the potstickers were the most underwhelming--however, they weren't bad. I ordered a combination plate and for some reason, it came out in a to-go container (without any explanation). Everyone else in my party had regular plates, so it just felt weird to have my food come out in a box. Otherwise, the meal I had here was great.

Ambiance was kind of strip mall. Parking was not a problem on a Sunday even with a beer event at the Redd. Counter service but the food came quickly. We are older so we don't usually finish all of our food and the staff helped us pack it up. No complaints about the service. The food was great. Salad rolls were very good. My wife had beef pho and I had the chicken. Both broths were rich, very flavorful...lots of meat. Very satisfying. Portland has a lot of great pho places and when one considers their location and hours this place might (I'm no pho or other Asian soup expert) might not be absolute top tier (but close) BUT the location, hours and the quality of the food along with the kindness and competency of the staff means we will be back. We were there on a cool, almost cold, rainy Sunday afternoon and the pho they served (and the staff) made it a rather pleasant day. If you are in the area and in need a good bowl of pho to brighten your day...give them a try! Sorry about the pics...thought I had more.

I've eaten here twice. I'll start with the positives, the service was friendly and the environment was clean and welcoming with plenty of outdoor seating. Negative: I got the jackfruit Banh Mi and it was inedible. It was messy, stale bread, no flavor, no fresh ingredients. Everything tasted old. But I wanted to give them another shot so I ordered the BBQ Tork Banh Mi but it was just as bad. Inedible. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was incredibly disappointing.

Vegetarian options: Tofu banh mi is fully vegan, as are a couple of their rolls & a handful of other items.

It was a cold, snowy Sunday after church service and I wanted some hot soup. And what will be open...XinhXinh Vietnamese Bistro. I ordered the Hue Spicy beef soup and it was delicious. The noodles were soft and the meat was tender. I also enjoyed the spicy kick. It is not for the faint of heart. I enjoy spicy food and it definitely gave me that nose sweat. Flavorful spicy, yet good. There are plenty of seating indoors, so it's good for parties, yet if you want to use the restroom, it is off-site.
