Packed full of flavor. What a perfect pick me up snack to keep us going for our busy day visiting Portland. We ordered the shrimp wontons and eggplant and tofu. I'm usually not a huge fan of eggplant but the sauce is to die for. The shrimp wontons are really tasty and flavorful. I'm allergic to nuts and asked if their hot chili sauce contained peanut oil. I was assured from their friendly staff that none of their items contain peanuts. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

WOW! I've heard good things but I was blown away. I love when places have a small menu but that often means I'll be limited in what I can order as a vegetarian. That was not the case here- it was hard to pick what to get because I wanted it all! I settled on the mushroom & chive baozi. It was amazing. Fluffy, chewy, soft, hot, steamy, and filled with a delicious filling. I already cant wait to go back!

I've eaten here twice so far - both times, I and a friend thought the bao was very underwhelming. The shanghai pork and shrimp noodles are another story - and honestly they tasted even better reheated for lunch the next day. Want to take it up a notch? Buy a jar of their chili oil and slather it on your noodles.

Absolutely delicious mushroom bao! Quick and friendly service. Covid precautions were taken seriously.

ummmmm yum! I went here yesterday. You can only get food to take out during COVID but I was desperate to get out and try something new. Simply menu. Dumplings, wontons, and dumpling and wonton soups. I had a tough time making a decision and finally decided on the cabbage and pork dumplings. It came with three large fluffy and moist dumplings. Delicious. Cooked to perfection. A nice soy vinegar sauce with sliced green onions to pair. Simply delicious. Nice, friendly service. Cute decor inside I can't wait to come back and sit and enjoy a soup!

Their version of flavor is just dumping a bunch of salt...felt like poo afterwards

We're long-time customers; their baos and noodle dishes are go-to takeout for us, but tonight we had a disturbing experience. When I got there to pick up my pre-paid order, there were 6-8 people patiently waiting, and there was no one at the cash register/pickup for about 5 minutes. When he finally got there he told me my order would be "a few minutes." I waited 20 more minutes, asked him again, and he again said it would be "a few minutes," at which point I told him he told me that 20 minutes ago, to which *he laughed in my face.* Yep, they were busy, and a bit behind. That happens, but when it does, you apologize and are honest with customers, you don't shine them on. Thankfully, the weather was fine; had it been raining, as it usually does this time of year, the situation would have been intolerable. I shall not be going there again. Bill

Honestly did not expect that place to be that awesome! The Wontons and the popcorn chicken were 6 out of 5. Eggplant and Baos were 5 out of 5. Chinese greens were a 4.5 out of 5. Overall, makes it a more than solid 5 out of 5!

The food was fine. Not great but not terrible either. Ironically not serving xlb at the moment which was the most disappointing!

Omg!!! XLB is literally incredible. Every single item we ordered was amazing. I wish I could give 100 stars.

THIS WAS DURING A SHUTDOWN, however I went with both the noodle dishes and some long beans to go. It was aight, kinda bland all the way around but not all bad. The shrimp and pork dish was a little skimpy in the shrimpy. Later after consumption it felt like a dead person was dying in my stomach and somehow able to keep farting. Wanna try the dumpings tho so I'll probably try again..

Yummy yum yum thank you. Buns? Squishy and perfect. Cashews? Almost hoovered those before we got to the dumplings. Take-away window was set-up for safe waiting outdoors. Worth a COVID to-go!

I feel bad saying this, but I did not like my food. I ordered the chili shrimp wontons which were way too salty. I like salt, but these were salt bombs. Almost inedible. I ate them because that was my lunch. The person with me ordered baozi which they said was okay. On the plus side, the service is friendly and fast. They have great Covid protocols. I am going to give them another shot someday. Today's order may have been a fluke.
