Yalla is one of our go-to special occasion restaurants, and did not disappoint for my daughter's anniversary with her boyfriend/partner. The food, drinks, vibe, service, just everything were superb...so delicious that the four of us were practically in a food coma upon leaving (couldn't even order dessert), but we have no regrets. Can't wait to come back!
Wonderful food with a very friendly staff. We were very pleased with out experience at Yalla. It is now on our list for a return visit. Mark and Jen
We had another fantastic family dinner with great food and friendly service. Love the variety.
We went for brunch and cannot wait to return. The coffee and food were delicious! The flavors and fragrance of each dish we had was tantalizing. We started with the Turkish coffee, and it had a smooth taste. For our food selection, we ordered the Dutch Baby, Khachapuri, and Chicken & Waffles. All were absolutely delicious with its own flavors. I will have to say, that was one of the best fried chicken and waffles that I've ever had. You can see the juices each time you cut into the chicken, and it was well seasoned. I just moved here from Atlanta, Georgia, and I had my share of chicken and waffles, and this one tops my list. I recommend visiting Yalla.
You can't go wrong with any of the cocktails or food options at Yalla. Highly recommend starting with a hummus (and an extra pita). The grilled veggies never disappoint (we had the cauliflower and their yams). Amazing service, ambiance, food - can't wait to try their happy hour and brunch.
Never disappoints! The hummus with burnt beef ends was amazing as was the roasted cauliflower w/romesco and the cocktails. Highly recommended!
We have eaten here several times and this was very disappointing despite someone who said he was the owner being our server. The radicchio salad was lacking in the usual grated Parmesan and crushed croutons. The short rib which was $52 and I am certain it was not short rib but instead corned beef or brisket because it was sliced. Short rib is meat that falls off a bone. It tasted like corned beef too.
Since we were on a carb reducing phase we couldn't take full advantage of the menu. We had salmon, ridicchio salad and fried chicken - I know somewhat carby. Friends added the cornbread, green beans and hummus which they said was excellent. We were very impressed with the service as they have plenty of servers who are efficient and friendly. It is becoming one of our favorite places to eat.
The food is inventive and deliishly prepared. The radicchio salad was perfectly dressed. The short ribs and the kebab were outstanding. Prices very reasonable and the service spot on.
This used to be so much better than it’s been lately. Every time I’ve been within the last year or so, I’ve left unimpressed..

I live in the neighborhood and didn’t come here for a long time because Mediterranean food isn’t my thing, but I’m so glad I finally gave it a try. We ordered 7 dishes for 3 people, which was 1-2 dishes too many but everything was absolutely delicious and so flavorful. My favorites were the roasted cauliflower, the cornbread and the green beans. The service and the vibes were great as well. Can’t wait to go back!

So delicious 😋 and I have an uncommon food intolerance (onion) and they were so on top of helping me navigate the menu which has plenty of options to choose from. Best Bloody Mary I've had and everything was supremely tasty. A must try kinda place

Unmatched- hands down my favorite restaurant in Portland. Unique flavor profiles in a cozy, comfy atmosphere. Great prices and lots of veggie options. Brunch is awesome, but so is dinner. Delicious!

Our main dish came 30 min after the sides and appetizers, chase (the manager) said we should have expected to wait at least45 min-1 hr per app/main. It was upsetting to try to request help from a manager a be so belligerently denied.
