One of the few unchanged holdovers from the classic days of old Portland. La Luna is gone, but the Yamhill Pub remains a landmark, an institution, and a must-see. Formal wear advised but not required, they have loaner ties for loan if you don't bring your own
Just have to give this place a shout out. My friend and I were staying at a nearb6 hotel doing a short move from Portland to Seattle. The hotel recommended this place. I was sort of terrified walking in. We spent three hours talking, laughing and singing with the staff and patrons. Bartender was great fun and not a dbag. Good drinks. Good prices. Chill but kinda loud atmosphere. Bathrooms make you want to wash your hands 3x but it's art!

One of the best dive bars I’ve ever been to. Apparently it’s been around since 1933, and it wears it well! Straightforward simple affordable drinks in a poorly lit graffiti covered bar, the identity of a true dive bar!
