I have ordered take out and delivery from here. I've had good experiences both ways. For take out, they greeted me immediately, took my order, had me pay, then told me how long it would take. I didn't have to wave them down and I felt like they treated me well. The food was prepared surprisingly fast. I was even more surprised by the large portions for the price that I paid. For delivery (via Grubhub), some items aren't available (such as the pepper and onion prawns), but similarly the food was prepared fast with large portions and delivered in a timely manner. So far, I've had their BBQ pork, roasted pork, duck, salt and pepper prawns, fried rice, congee, Big Game A and Big Game B, and wonton soup - all tasted great, not overly salty nor bland, and a great price for large portions. Overall, great experiences!

Thumbs up ~ sizeable piping hot bowl of dumpling soup, smooth flavor. Mound of Chow Mein noodles fresh & hot. Prices are right on. Not the most pleasing decor, a bit grungy. Service was smiley & friendly. Packed with regulars.

Traditional wonton and fish ball soup. Life is good when you can have hot soup. Reminds me of when I eat on the street foods in Kowloon, HK Come enjoy local business at least weekly. Peace & Many Rich Blessings

You don't come here for the gourmet dining experience, the exceptional service, or the pleasing aesthetic (dead ducks and a pig head are visible). No. It's the inexpensive yet not not cheaply made comfort food that consistently satisfy. This is a true hidden gem of Portland.

Roast pork was a bit dry. Wonton mein was good.

Got the wonton soup with egg noodles and roast pork and bbq pork combo over rice. Unfortunately the meats were dry. The taste was just okay for both the roast and bbq pork. The soup tasted very light, and I didn't mind that, just wish there was a bit more flavor and umami to it. The wontons were fine, but I was not a big fan of the thin egg noodles. Price, quality, quantity: 6.0/10 These 2 dishes came out to around $30. If the flavor profile was there and the freshness as well, I would've given more credit to where it's due, but unfortunately it just didn't deliver, especially the meats I got. The portions were fine though. Overall, I have to admit that it wasn't worth what I paid for. Maybe it was just the time that I went, or just that particular day or something.

3.5 stars for this noodle spot. The portion sizes were huge, but I think the taste of the soup could be a little better. It's good, but not great. I think the soup base at another noodle house is better than them. The gailan was tender and garlicky though, so we really enjoyed it. The bbq from this spot is pretty good though. My favorite it probably the bbq spareribs and bbq pork.

This place is not clean. I would not recommend getting any food here… Ever. The lady who sold us, our barbecue pork did not wash her hands. She rinsed them under water and then wiped them on her apron and went back to work making dumplings, directly after cutting up and packaging our barbecue pork with her bare hands. The other person who rang up our bill also hassled filthy hands and left all kinds of dough remnants all over our credit card. It was really gross and the barbecue pork did not look very nice.

My husband and I love this place! I craved this place my whole pregnancy and I still love it. The portions are big, tasty and authentic. The duck soup is flavorful and my favorite item there. Must try this place if you want authentic food.

I actually really enjoy Yang Kee! It's in a little plaza off of 82nd and is pretty easily missed if you don't look carefully enough. It has the classic Chinese roasted duck and pork front - the roast duck and pork hang from racks near a window so that customers can see them on display. I enjoy the simplicity of the Noodle dishes and the meat. Sometimes the meat can be a little slim (more bone than meat), but usually there are some good thick chunks amidst the bony ones. They also sell noodle soups - including the classic wonton soup. The wontons are freshly made and pretty well packed, and they also have bigger chunks of bok choy to top the bowl.Overall, this place is a pretty solid find and I will be back.

Pretty decent place to get a good bowl of wonton noodle soup. The menu is similar to the restaurant that was there beforehand (Good Taste). I ordered the special combination that came with duck, bbq pork, and roasted pork. I usually like the meat on the side so it doesn't get all soggy. The broth was good, and the portions were generous. The service is pretty quick.
