Such a tiny spot we almost missed it. Just a counter with one worker, not a place to sit and eat or anything which I didn't realize going in. Ordered the plum and tuna which were both good. Their musubi was amazing though and I wish I had gotten more lol!

First of all, let me just start this by saying the little shop is so stinking cute, there's nowhere to sit so you can't go there with the intention of eating on site. It's a tiny little shop where you can go in pick your treat and head out.the food is simple, but very delicious. I think it's harder to make tasty food when you can't hide it behind a bunch of seasoning and flavor. But this location does just that! Simple, simple tasty well balanced food.

Small, cute little shop! Nice selection of drinks and Onigiri, my kids loved them. The only thing I didn’t really like was that each Onigiri was wrapped in plastic wrap and kept warm like that; I think it would be better to wrap in food safe paper and foil so the possibility of plastic particles getting into the food is lessened.

Small shop that sells musubi and onigiri, also some other treats as well. We stopped by on our way back home because we wanted a snack because it was a little too late for a full lunch but too early for dinner. This place fit the bill. We came in around 230pm, which is 30 minutes prior to closing. There were still some musubi and onigiri left in the case. We opted for a spam musubi and spicy tuna onigiri. Both tasted fine and satisfied the palate, I don't think this is a place I will go out of my way for, but certainly if im in the area and need a quick bite.

Local 808 grinds in the 503! Put this spot of your to-do list. Musubi, butter mochi, and banana bread just like home. Are you far from the 808 state and yearning for a spam musubi? This is the place to grab one! The staff is here is always friendly and welcoming, you instantly feel at home once you walk through the door. They even have some "unofficial" gluten free/friendly pickings, just ask the staff. Parking can be challenging, but definitely worth the effort, and I know you'll agree!

If you want something quick and tasty, I recommend going here. The only downside is that parking can be tricky; other than that, it is excellent. People are super friendly, and it is a fantastic whole-in-the-wall place. Most of all, the food is amazing, the prices are super friendly, and because most food is rice, it fills you up quickly. I recommend going here but be aware that parking is hard.

My god. What a treasure. just went after 2 months of showing up at the wrong time I finally hit the eclipse blood moon sweet spot. & I don’t hold a single thing against them. If they were more available, this city would fall to ruin & musubi would replace money. I am a huge fan, so I went in knowing what I was going to get. first bite wiped the slate clean, I have never had a teriyaki spam musubi anywhere near as good as this one.if your reading this your wasting your time. pitch a tent NOW. wait for the dawn of the fourth day, & when you see that open sign get in & get what you can. this is the greatest place for food on this side of the river & that’s no exaggeration.

I had no idea this place existed until just the other day. My wife always has a hankering for musubi and our most convenient option is usually a nearby Japanese grocery store. But no longer! Now we can stop by Yokai whenever we're in Portland.

This is a really small, easy to miss spot in Portland. We spotted it the first time as we headed to the plant shop next door, made note of it, and then forgot about it until we were in the area again. It was during the afternoon, and we were craving a light snack, so musubis it was! The shop itself is small, and it is clearly a better option to take out - so we did just that. The musubis were fine - nothing super astonishing, but they did exactly what I hoped they would -they served up a tasty morsel that enabled me to keep my day going. A small tasty snack that is perfect for on the go! I also think they did a good job of balancing their ratio of rice to filling. It was densely packed but not just full of rice. Quick, simple and delicious!
