Good drinks if you like tea

Carly Thomasset

I just got my first boba from this place and it's incredible. I walked in and was instantly stumped by the incredibly extensive menu of amazing sounding drinks. With unique flavors like pandan Coconut, ube, creme brulee, King fruit tea and other seasonal specials rounding out the menu of classics, I found it so hard to choose! I can't wait to try their fruit! Jellies and creme brulee toppings.
I started at the top with pandan coconut cream. It wasn't too sweet which is great to know since they don't have a sweetness scale.

Totally worth the try! Washingtonian here; I took my mom on a getaway trip to OR and randomly stopped by. We loved it! The menu is quite a fun adventure; you never gotta worry about running out of choices I think lol. You definitely should check in for seasonal specialties. I got the avo-coco milky, which fell right into my rich and creamy palette. My mom tried the rambutan milk tea, which I had never seen at any boba tea shop.

A quick note, they have quite a list of fresh milk items. Lactose intolerants should check with staffs. Sweet spot for IG!

Drinks were awesome but this place was cluttered/messy behind the counter in view of the customers and has an odd odor inside.

Tried them for the first time and their boba tea is so delicious, I tried their coconut pandan milk tea and it was amazing that I had to come back the next day to grab another one. Yoonique you rock!

This place is ok. Tea’s are standard and nothing amazing. The service is unbelievably slow. As in, it took 45 min to get 2 teas on Saturday afternoon. It was not busy enough to warrant the slowness.

Delicious, fast and a very cute shop overall. I really love it here and they so far have been my favorite boba spot! Plenty of dairy free options as well!!

I honestly couldn’t even order. My partner and I walked in and were assaulted by a wave of cat urine odor and as we were talking to each other about the smell a cat walked over and some kids were chasing it under my partners legs while we were waiting. We’ve never been here so we didn’t know about the cat much less that it was an outside cat and the children went to let them out and we told them not to do that because again we’d never been here before. I’ve ordered from this place on door dash but after coming and experiencing the “atmosphere” we won’t be spending our money here for delivery or in person service.

Edit: I have two cats myself so I don’t have an issue with cats being in your store, I actually love cats and as such im pretty familiar with the smell of cat urine. I think if other folks aren’t bothered I encourage them to come and experience the atmosphere themselves.

Thank you for receiving my feedback so gracefully.

I’ve been coming here in person or ordering online for maybe 1.5yrs now. I always get the same drink for my partner and I and it’s perfect every time. The store is always clean and very welcoming. They have a great selection of little Knick knacks and such to look through as well. I frequently order online for delivery and it’s just as good as when I get in person. I will continue coming back for my peach black tea with mango jellies ! Thankful to have this place local to me.

My favorite boba place! I always stop by when I'm close by. Love the banana milk tea! Super cute and comfy area to sit and sip if you prefer to stay and enjoy your beverage.

Even though it seems like mostly negative reviews, I think they’re just the vocal minority and doesn’t reflect my experiences coming here. I’ve been coming here for over two years and I’ve really enjoyed the drinks and flavors here! It’s definitely a more dessert type of boba place, so keep that in mind if you don’t like sweet drinks. I’d say the milk tea is a hit or miss depending on who makes it that day (either really good or just ok). I do agree that there can be a lot of ice, but the container also feels pretty large and tall, so I imagine it balances out. Overall, it’s my go-to when I want an ube/milky type dessert drink!

Yoonique has the best bubble tea in Portland for sure. Their brown sugar milk tea has a much stronger brown sugar than any other place's, and they have different flavors of tapioca and unique flavors of tea (pandan, durian, ube) that you don't see very often. The inside of the shop is super cute and they do events like painting, K-pop fan meetups, and collaborative pop-ups with other local small businesses - we haven't gone but we've seen them advertised. For our order (1x brown sugar milk tea and 1x rotating flavors with coffee jellies) it usually runs about $13, a little less than a lot of other shops.

Parking: We usually park on a nearby side street so we don't have to cross Foster (or pull a u-turn on Foster).
