Yoshi’s is hands down our favorite sushi spot in all of Portland—and it just so happens to be a food cart, which makes it even more special. Every time we visit, Yoshi greets us with the kindest smile and makes you feel like an old friend. The sushi is unbelievably fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently delicious. You can tell he puts his heart into every roll.
We love bringing our daughter along and hanging out in the food cart area—it’s such a relaxed, family-friendly spot with a great neighborhood vibe. Whether you’re picking up a quick lunch or making an evening out of it, Yoshi’s never disappoints. This place is a true gem in Multnomah Village!

AMAZING!! We order the daily a special...yellowtail nigiri and a salmon and spicy tuna roll...just do yourself a favor and order whatever is the special of the day!! We also ordered the albacore tuna nigiri and Hotate...delicious!!! We ordered a spicy tuna roll too...yes!! Every bite was clean and beautiful. There was a yuzu pepper marmalade on the hotate...yes yes yes! Quite spectacular!

Lived in Tokyo 13 years and this is the most authentic sushi in Portland with proper Japanese preparation and freshness standards. Japanese man (Yoshi san) running the show. Salmon and hotatte were exceptionally fresh and delicious. Must order ahead as he prepares all dishes by himself.
