Yuki was a true diamond in the rough. Great food...decent prices...great staff ...and fast service. Sadly, Yuki's is no more...though the replacement, Blue Fin Tuna and Sushi, is pretty damn good too.
I'm normally not one to frequent Japanese style restaurants, but my co-workers dragged me in despite my protests. I ordered the soup with buckwheat noodles and it was extremely delicious. The Yuki Japanese Restaurant doesn't skimp on portion size and I only made it about 1/2 way through before I raised the white flag. Soup base was rich, but not overly so, and the texture of the noodles were firm. Crowd size during lunchtime was fairly low, and we were served within...
Low quality fish, I could tell it had been frozen either a long time or thawed and refrozen multiple times. However, the service was amazing. Everyone I encountered was pleasant. Just not impressed by whoever is supplying their fish
