This place is fire. It’s friendly, familiar, cozy. The food is really fresh and has a good, tight menu with hot and cold combos. The house kimchi is excellent. Cocktails are varied and balanced.

Hands down my favorite place in Portland. Sammy and Rachel KILL it in front of house, the kitchen staff is always on point and cheerful, and the specials are amazing along with the always fresh sushi menu. Perfect spot for a date night, sitting outside in the summer, or bellying up to the bar and reading a book. LOVE YOU ZENBU!!!!!!!!

This is a super cutie spot for dine in. The vibes are like a more sophisticated twin peaks, I will look forward to coming back in the summer to check out the patio, the service and drinks were so good, I thought the sushi menu was actually fairly limited compared to other local spots, and I would give it a solid 7.5 out of 10. Really good but I wasn’t blown away, but will absolutely come back because of the service and vibes. It felt cozy and nice, the lowlight lends well to a super sweet date night or late night chat with friends. The best roll was the The Sellwood, and the Tuna nigiri was also very tasty, the lychee lemon drop was pleasantly tart and yummy 😋

Great local spot, really nice atmosphere. Tuna crudo is awesome. Summer the outdoors patio is great for eating outside or to give the kids a bit more room.

This place is one of my favorite sushi spots in town. The staff is always on it! Rachel the bartender is my favorite. Super knowledgeable about spirits, sake, and the menu. I love the specials they offer. Highly recommend.

The food is amazing however, there's been too much inconsistency with what is on their menu vs what is actually available. Once or twice I get it, but it has happened multiple times. You could go there looking to order a specific dish and them be out of it which is frustrating. I think there should be a way to update the online menu as soon as you're out.
The staff had been very accommodating and professional except for one bartender who over the past few months has seemed to have had a major shift in her demeanor. She has curly hair I think.... Whenever our group popped in she seemed very peppy, but the past few times it's felt like we and others were a inconvenience. Doesn't feel good to visit anymore or to risk our good day on what could be a negative one unfortunately.

Don’t sleep on the back patio! Sitting in the sun smelling their fresh lilies. The drinks are inventive and the service and food is delightful!

Hidden Gem in portland. Some of the freshest sushi and best food you can find in the city. All the staff is wonderful and the owners are such cool people with tons of experience in the industry. There is a rotating cocktail menu (make sure to check out the shrubs) and happy hour starts at 8 and goes until close ( $5 musubi is a must !) The real draw and what keeps me returning is the weekly specials which are regularly switched out and always unique, fresh and delicious. The homemade ice cream which makes its way on the menu occasionally is some of the best i’ve had. There’s also a great outdoor patio which opens up for the sunny months and it’s lovely. This place does not disappoint!
