I got the Smoked Steelhead Chowder this evening and it was truly exceptional. This was probably the best hand made soup I have ever had. It was smokey and cheesy, it had the perfect blend of chowder essentials. (Corn, jalapenos (not too spicy) and of course Steelhead. Out of this world. Way to go Chef! ?????

Stayed for a long weekend in the Cabins. Christina at Wild Rye was absolutely amazing and the rest of the staff were talented and helpful. Incredible dining experiences and the food was excellent. Don’t skip the apps! Brooke, Crystal, Derrick, and Jonah all were great as well.

We are locals and I privately reached out so they could take care of the less than happy experience we had (management didn't bother to) 1st the wine was great but not local. 2nd service (server) was not great not even good. 3rd food was ick (we had appetizers only) and way overpriced. We have been going there for 10 years and food has been hit and miss always mainly miss, but its half way between my besties and my home. I'm just sad they dont care enough about the locals to respond. Buyer beware... your food may be great or it may suck.

This was a Harvest Dinner reservation and the food was fantastic! I would suggest a wine pairing option for future menus. As with any restaurant there are great places to sit and the opposite. I made this reservation a month in advance and then we were seated at an awful table...ultimately we were moved but a more thoughtful approach would have been appreciated.
Absolutely wonderful Harvest Dinner last night. We advised our server of our diet restrictions (no meat, fish OK), and received a fully curated meal. Every component was expertly seasoned and complimented the entire meal. Lovely atmosphere as we were also seated with a premium view. Yay ! Thank you also for selecting The High Desert Food and Farm Alliance to recieive a donation from each meal purchased. Greatly appreciated, and we have already encouraged friends to attend in the coming weeks.
The Harvest Dinner Series Wild Rye provides is a fantastic farm to table experience. This is the second year we have done it and the food is delicious, fresh, meats and chicken is grilled to perfection and all the wait staff is personable and excellent. Everyone is attentive and friendly and there is always live music which makes the experience jump to another level. We will be going back since the menu rotates every week during the Harvest Series.
Nice view. Atmosphere was very noisy making it difficult to hear/visit with colleagues. Felt menu items were a bit overpriced.

This was my 5th night in a row at Wild Rye. Every single thing about this place is epic. The servers were super friendly and knowledgable. Thank you to Brooke, Christina, Trenton, and Blake, as well as Derek and Reed at the bar, and V is a lovely host. The food was local, seasonal, inventive, meticulously prepared, gorgeous to look, incredibly well balanced, and delicious. Some repeat favorites were the tuna crudo (best ive ever had), beet salad, local green salad, and the halibut. I'm not usually a dessert person, but the pavlova and basque cheesecake were both incredible. On top of that they were gracious and caring for my pup Fabio who was my nightly dinner companion. Thank you wild Rye for being a consistently favorite part of my days here at Brasada Ranch. I'll be back!
The halibut was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. The lamb shank was slightly smoked with plenty of meat—the rye risotto under the lamb shank was excellent. You can not ask for a more beautiful setting, especially at sunset. Servers are attentive and knowledgeable.
Best experience we could ask for! They instantly referred to a note about our anniversary when seating us, we met a cook outside business hours the day before and he sent us a special treat when seated. We were treated so nicely and were told happy anniversary many times let alone made us feel special with complimentary drinks and desert. The food and drinks were delicious and the ambiance is perfect! Our waitress was so nice, answered all questions asked and had the cutest laugh! We snuck out when waiting for food to take a picture in the gorgeous sunset and a separate waitress came out to take our picture. We wish we would have eaten here both nights we were visiting. We highly recommend!

This was a typical high-end resort restaurant. With incredibly high dollar amounts for their large plates. We are not new to high priced dining experiences, but this was just too much. The other problem, the menu items just didn't seem that enjoyable to experience. There was nothing there that said, "That sounds incredible! I would would love to pay at least double what they should be charging." Then of course, if it had of tasted OK, not incredible and/or it was this little 2oz. portion of food, like high-end places usually do, we would have been severely disappointed and out an incredible amount of money. Risk vs Reward just wasn't there. We did have a couple drinks and had their Brie starter. It was Brie cheese-like which was another red flag. We explained our desire to go somewhere else to our waiter. He understood. Interesting part, we never saw anyone else eating a main course. Like they all thought the same as us.
Food was great! Server was even better! Accommodated all requests. Only downside was sun in our face. Couldn't close the blinds because they were over the door leading to the patio. Husband had to put sunglasses on. Restaurant should move the table to ensure this isn't an issue.
Steak was way underwhelming cooked and halibut was overcooked (dry) so we had to send them both back and while both were cooked correctly on the second try it took a long time and our other guests were done with their meal once ours arrived. They did comp those meals but it still was a hellaciously expensive meal because all items are ala carte even bread. Won't be going back again.
Crystal, our server, was amazing! The albacore crudo was also amazing! My husband ordered the lamb shank - divine! My halibut tasted great but was a bit overdone. Try the rolls with the smoked butter. Unreal!
We enjoyed a superb meal at Wild Rye. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. Locally grown vegetables and herbs. Amazing fish. Imaginative combinations of flavors and textures. I really can't say enough about our experience. We were celebrating my husband's birthday in the Bend area and I selected this restaurant based on reviews and other information I saw on Open Table. It looked like a nice destination for a special occasion and it was--a beautiful setting. We were not disappointed for a moment. I highly recommend Wild Rye. Service was wonderful too.
