Sammy's Burgers & Shakes

I went there last night a bit after 10pm, the place is small, set back from the street a bit, but not hard to find. Service was quick, I got the big combo version of their steakhouse burger, with fries. Big combo makes the burger a double. It was very good, and the price was very reasonable for this day and age. Since they have opened the taste of the burgers just isn't the same and I waited to give my review just to see if maybe they would switch back but sadly, no. I haven't tried any of the breakfast items so I cannot vouch for those but I have tried quite a few different things. Way better than McDonalds and other options in town and a great place to eat late at night.Sammy's was pretty good when they first opened but due to inconsistent staff it went downhill quickly. After they remodeled and rehired new staff the food is much much better. No soggy burger buns, fries are cooked through, prices are good, soda in a can no fountain, and they are 24/7.
