Fantastic sit down restaurant and bar in Reedsport, they have tons of dining and drink options. We had the appetizer sampler, coconut shrimp, halibut, schnitzel, and prime burger, everything was excellent.

Went twice. Had lunch on the patio with our dog. Fish and chips were battered but not greasy. Went back for dinner inside and had the cod and rib daily specials. Both were excellent. Service during both visits was outstanding. Owner gave us history about the boat.

You know it’s a good afternoon when the bar tender spark’s up a conversation. And not only is it the bartender but the owner of the place! Ron! And his wife runs the kitchen.
We stopped here for an early dinner on a long roadtrip up the Oregon coast; and I have to say the atmosphere did not disappoint, the conversation was amazing and the food was great.
Ron was chatting with his regulars. This lovely woman named Angie (I think) who’s these every weekend and they were a hoot. Honestly. A great stop, to eat and chat with the locals and have a great time.
Live here or passing thru, stop by! And oh. If you show up wearing a Big Fish shirt, the first drink is on Ron. Honestly. He was great. Wish him and his team continued success here.

I had the best salmon, super fresh and moist cooked perfectly not overcooked. The huckleberry pie was delicious too. Sorry no pics. When the food arrives, I always forget about photos and start eating, smile. I would definitely return. It’s on my saved list.

If you’re a lover of seafood, this is a great stop! The staff were very kind and our server was particularly wonderful. They told us that all the seafood is sourced from local fishers daily; nothing pre-frozen. They fish and chips were top notch, and the atmosphere was unique and fun. Highly recommend!
Big Fish Cafe is a must-stop for anyone in the area. The food is incredible, but the best reason to go is to hear Ron’s stories of the place.
