We really enjoyed lunch! Our family came in from Nevada and really wanted seafood; after a freezing couple of hours on the beach, Griff's was a welcome stop! The atmosphere was a little dilapidated, and the staff was a little overwhelmed. The food was wonderful! My son got clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. Gone in 60 seconds! I got fish and chips, which I really enjoyed! My husband was blown away by the grilled tuna!!! We are definitely going to be back!!!

We assumed the crab cocktail would have fresh crab since the big sign outside says "fresh crab" but got a skimpy, frozen, mushy mess. Our bad for not asking, but it is in season! The server really should have given us a heads up. Expensive mistake. The saving grace was the outstanding fish, oysters and clams. Fresh, succulent and perfectly seasoned and prepared, our favorite yet in the area. Great friendly service, excellent views.

Let me start with this about myself, "I'm a penny pincher". Now with that out of the way, I recommend this place 100%. The food is pricey but worth it, larger portions, made well, and tasty. The atmosphere has that harbor feeling and the service was wonderful. We loved it and are coming back for sure! We ordered the crab Louie and the salmon burger.

First time at Griff's and we had great dinners. I had fish and chips. The fish was tender and the light batter was not greasy and had a good flavor as well as the fries. The chowder was good too but could have a pinch more seasoning. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their dinners too. Service was great. We'll be back!
