I live in the area but wanted to try something new. Somehow I'd never heard of The Harbor Light, but it's clearly historic. All 4 of us were very impressed with both quality and price. I had the prawns and they were fantastic.

We arrived thirty minutes before close expecting to hurry so that staff could finish their night. We were immediately happily greeted and seated, and felt absolutely no sense of urgency from the staff. We asked for advice from our server, and she ended up providing excellent recommendations! This place has mostly seafood and elk, and a couple sold out lobster options at the time of our visit.

We had halibut with onion rings and cod with onion rings. The fish was cooked to perfection! Being raised by a seafood broker, I have spent my life sampling the best of the best. The oil temperature was high enough to get a light and crisp breading with firm and flaky fish. No sogginess or burned/bitter oil flavors. Onion rings were a great choice with a crisp tempura coating over thick slices of onion. The dessert options were on display and looked sooooo good and fresh! Friendly, excellent service! Will stop here again if we pass through Reedsport on our travels!

Best burger on the Oregon Coast! Weekly specials are amazing and so is the staff. Tons of GF options available including the chowder. This place is a gem!

Another fine example of an Oregon coast restaurant with way too many ratings and even more way too high of a score.

Mediocre food at best. And it just felt dirty to me.

My French dip was dry as hell (how do you achieve this with a jus?) and the massive bowls of soup were all tasteless. Waste of money but they know you are a bit limited with options in these towns. Just don’t believe the 4+ reviews. It’s a 2.7-2.9 at best.

Harbor Light Restaurant is an excellent choice for mealtimes. We stopped here on our trek down the PCH and the chowder was so amazing. The burger was delicious and the brand was a cute touch. The onion rings were so big and the batter was so tasty. Best onion rings I've had in a long while.

Highly recommend! Best clam chowder I’ve ever had. The seafood pot pie was out of this world! A creamy sauce FULL of tender fish, crab, and shrimp topped with puff pastry. SO good! Only wish I’d had enough room for the Marion berry crisp or the bread pudding. And the waitstaff were super attentive, friendly and efficient.
