Excellent food, great service. Very patient staff. They were really busy and several rude individuals decided to seat themselves and complain about not getting service. Staff were professional in dealing with these individuals. We will be back.

Right next to the Discovery Center you’ll finds the Schooner Inn, a longtime favorite restaurant with great food and views all around you. Have lunch after your tour of Reedsport’s Discovery Center that beautifully presents the local history, fish & wildlife and a few surprises too. Outdoor seating in good weather AND your dog is welcome on the deck outside! Perched next to & just above the Umpqua River, Bridges & wildlife the fishermen launch, land and float by, as you enjoy freshly made food. Same great menu for a long time and the quality is consistently excellent. Plus they have a board where they always have a daily special. It’s the only restaurant I know that bakes their own roasted turkey for their sandwiches! Be sure to try the Turkey DeLight. Excellent fish & chips & if you’re craving something different ask for Tater Tots instead of fries. They’re done perfectly! The iced tea is exceptional, being brewed fresh every day and local beers available. Tasty creative salads and seafoods too. One visit and you’ll certainly be back again!

Not sure why this place has good reviews. Fish n chips was worst I've ever had, no flavor, soggy non edible batter and tasted like mush, microwave frozen fish sticks for kids are better, fries bland, ketchup tasted like industrial prison canned tomato paste, coleslaw boring, waitress was rude. For a business that runs on tourism they sure do a good job running off tourists and making sure they don't come back.

Great service and food. I love sitting on the deck watching the river float by. I'm definitely going back. I had the Caesar salad. Couldn't finish. Great time.
I couldn’t be happier with my hearty lunch with a nice view in a beautiful day. I had the special which included an half beefeater sandwich, a cup of clam chowder, and salad. All three were delicious. The salad had a good variety of vegetables and was flavorful. The staff was attentive and kind. Strongly recommend it.

Loved this place. Very friendly. Our waitress was also the cook. It was relaxing by the water. I left my jacket and wallet by mistake. The coast doesn't have good cell service so an hour later I received their voice mail. Thank you so much it took an hour to get back but everything was there. Couldn't ask for better people.
