We love El Trio Loco!
We visit this joint every time we’re visiting family in Rockaway. The servers always say hello like we’re close family friends, and make the restaurant such a welcoming place to be. Booths are always so tidy and ready for the next meal - spotless.
The menu is FULL of options and the portions are always generous. There is something for everyone on the menu - even burgers and fish & chips. The chips and salsa are perfect little appetizers and food arrives quickly. Highly recommend the Cadillac Margarita.
Such a lovely little stop to feed the group when you’re visiting the beach, conveniently located right in the main part of town. Visit when you can!!

I agree that it can be very challenging to find impressive Mexican food in Oregon. I don't usually choose it here, but this is one of the best I've had in the state! They have a really nice vibe. If it was warm we would've sat on the covered patio. Even the menus were a great design.

We ordered Chile relleno/chimichanga and Verde burrito/Chile relleno combos, and both were just ok. Not tasty enough for another stop the next time we're in town, especially for the price ($43 for the meal and two sodas). The staff were friendly and the vibe of the restaurant was great though!

We were here kinda early in the evening, just before their dinner rush. I ordered the carne asada tacos. Only complaint I had, was no sauce to put on my tacos. They were pretty good and served up Taco truck style with lime wedges. Gf had crunchy ground beef tacos. They had good flavor and were pretty saucy. We both cleaned our plates. The server was attentive and made sure our drinks were full. I don't eat out as much as I used to, so I'm not accustomed to the inflation pricing. That being said, I feel like we got a decent sized portion for what we paid for.
