As expected, the clam chowder was delicious! Savory, salty, and buttery with a moderate amount of clams and potatoes. If you like your chowder "chunky", this may not be what you're looking for but the flavor can't be beat!
We also got smoked salmon that was tasty and the service was friendly and helpful. A must stop the next time you're in Rockaway!

Love this this place and who ever works here they always seem great for this little tiny shack dam good food and worth the wait. They use really good oil or something everything fried is great with perfect crisp and crunch golden brown.

Excellent food and service. Had the crab melt...mmmmm. chowder OMG! Take out only, accepts cards. Has covered picnic tables outside.
Best chowder so far this trip. Cod and fries for me. And sampled the smoked salmon belly. That’s was excellent as well. Wife tried the salmon and fries and said it was ok.

Clam chowder was old and mushy been sitting in the pot for awhile, the $30 crab cakes were mushy and inedible maybe can off night for the cooks, but we won't return.

EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! THE CLAM CHOWDER WAS THE BEST CLAM CHOWDER IVE EVER HAD!! I wish they weren't so far from Portland. Actually, I would probably drive the 2 hrs just to get some more of the Clam Chowder and the smoked salmon bites.

This was such a wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant. I was looking for some good seafood and decided to order the crab melt and it was amazing! Staff were friendly. The location is great, right next to the beach and some picnic tables overlooking the ocean. Would definitely come here again!
