i went here while on vacation. i had been driving up the coast for a few days and this was by far the best coffee i had on the trip. very friendly staff. excellent food and drinks.

This place is cute and the service is great. However, I believe the barista is improperly pulling shots. The espresso is watery, but with a little training this coffee shop could definitely become a hit. I know the bake goods come from a local outside source- the bagel was fine, the Danish was decent- the muffin was improperly baked, most likely from an oven that is too hot. The outside was overbaked and the inside was not fully baked. I hope these improvements can be made and this shop and be prosperous.

"Rockaway's Living Room," as it's known, serves Stumptown Coffee in drip and espresso drinks (I'll take a large cappuccino with an extra shot, please). Tea, chai, lattes, and more are available from their extensive drinks menu. They also have a rotating selection of baked goods from a few local suppliers, one of which is Grumpy's restaurant a few blocks to the north. Grumpy's baked the cinnamon-caramel-pecan sticky bun I had a week or so ago: it was over the top. Large, tender, gooey, nutty, and with enough cinnamon even for me, this is my current favorite pastry treat. To have this with a cappuccino I didn't have to make for myself? Bliss.

I love this place, good energy and I may secretly covet those gorgeous live edge tables. Good coffee and pastries and when they're up and going they will have other food offerings as well. Space for music happenings, and a sweet wine bar too.

What a pleasant surprise! Very high end coffee shop with unbelievably great coffee, pastries, and an ambiance found in the greatest roastery’s around the globe. A must!
Popped into the roastery for a morning chai and was not very surprised to see it busy with a short line out the door at 8:30/8:45 am. The line moved fast and my drink was great. They have a bar and heavier meals for an afternoon/evening vibe. The feel is very modern and more subtly beach themed than other eateries in the area. It's a nice change of scenery and I'd get coffee here again.

I hesitate to share because the lines are already long and I don't want more people to come here and make the lines longer, however, Rockaway Roastery is great!!! Totally worth the wait! I've been coming to Rockaway for years, and this is a much needed shop! The breakfast sandwiches are the best around!

Great coffee shop! I got a latte that was perfect. The breakfast sandwich was on a big fluffy biscuit with real eggs, ham and cheese. Excellent!
