The Beach Bite & Dos Rocas

Our group of five ladies ate there and it was amazing. The service was excellent and our server was such a charming gentleman. Our party, two ordered fish tacos, one ordered a hawaiian pizza, and two of us had the clam chowder. I must admit the clam chowder is the best I have had at the beach in a long time. The desserts were chocolate cake, fudge brownie, cheesecake and tiramisu. It all looked so wonderful, but we were all to full to order dessert. We will definitely be going there again.

Incredibly hospital, fun and funny hosts. Terrific margaritas and pizza. Come with an empty stomach and get the bean dip with chips and salsa, and you'll be more than satisfied. One of those rare places that's worth going back again and again.

With limited options in Rockaway, it's nice to find a place with excellent service and very good food. My son gives the burger a 9.9 and I tried it. This is a really great burger! We came back the second night in a row because he really wanted this burger again!! I love Widmer Hefeweizen on tap and it's harder to find these days but this place has it! This has become our go-to place to dine out in Rockaway.

We liked our dinner so much that we went back the next day. Some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. Our party also loved the caesar salad, shrimp alfredo, veggie burrito, and bean dip.It's a single page menu with something for everyone. A simple but clean and pleasant dining room. Our server Alberto is the owner's brother, and there because he enjoys it so much. Our kids were made welcome and all our needs appreciated. Everything came out quickly and was hot and fresh.Like everything these days, it's a little spendy, kids meals are about $10, seafood meals are $20-25, and everything else is in between. You could eat for under $20/person with no drinks.

Wonderful crew. Lovely family owned and ran establishment. Great dining experience and they are great with the kids. They were amazed at how fast my 15 year old ate his tiramisu ?

One of our favorites while visiting! We went twice!The staff was great! The margarita was really good! Not one of those made out of mix but the real deal.My fish in chips was probably the best I’ve ever had. I’m serious! So good! Everyone in our party loved their food and drinks. This place you want to check out for sure!

My family and I just had dinner here. We had a total group of 14 people and 2 babies. The food was absolutely delicious! The salsa was so yummy! Great service! Wonderful guys, thank you so much for a great experience! ?

This was perfect for family dinning. Walked in with a large group and were able to be seated together quickly. Menu has the best variety! We were able to order burgers, shrimp afredo, and burritos all at the same place. Even better it was all delicious. "Best Alfredo I've ever had" was a direct quote. From our party. Service was helpful, prompt, and friendly. This is the first beach restaurant we've enjoyed in Rockaway! Can't recommend it enough!

Some reason this place was not rated as high as other’s. We thankfully accidentally went here. Really incredible service! Food was great. It’s as expensive as everywhere else. Will definitely come back next time. They were great with all the kids(12) in all. Seriously eat here! The pizza, halibut tacos, halibut fish and chips were great.

So full disclosure we have not had the food here but we love visiting the bar when we are in town. The employees are always super friendly and welcoming. Will eat here someday but definitely recommend swinging in for a least a beer and keno!

It was sooo hot when we went. I was sweating and fanned myself with a chip basket the entire time. Owner said their AC is broken. The food was pretty good just overpriced ($9 for a kids bean and cheese burrito). The chips were plain, had to ask for salt and pepper on our table. Steak burrito was good (minus the $20 price tag). The man that looked like the owner turned away several families after us an hour before their posted closing time saying they were closed. He also touched both my kids while asking them if they likes the food. Probably just in his culture, but it made my kids feel uncomfortable.

Absolutely loved my veggie burrito ? ?. It was fresh vegetables not frozen. I could tell by the texture and cruch of the bell peppers and red onions used.This is a restaurant that is family friendly. They also have a lounge. The adult drinks were tasty ?. I felt as if they truly wanted me to enjoy my meal.The decorations and atmosphere were simple, but elegant ,not taking away from the food or distracting. There's booth seating and chair seating even high chair for little ones.
