Went in for lunch had such a wonderful server by the name of Emily. She was spot on with refilling my drink and ready to answer any questions we had. She is a credit to the service industry. What a bright woman. Thank you for such a great experience.

My daughter and I got the lamb burger. I have to say it beats a beef burger hands down. It was juicy and good. A must have is the Greek fries to go with it. My review is a big YUM.

Attention to gluten free needs and allergies were accommodated easily. The food was delicious and the gluten free pita was a win win. Had the grilled falafel and enjoyed each bite. The portions were sizable, and brought home half of my dinner after sharing dip combo plate as an appetizer. The dip combo (loved the eggplant ) was amazing. Definitely would eat here again on the next travel through. No reservation needed on a Friday night, but went early at 5:30.

I had the appetizer plate and mousaka, (misspelled?) Both were very good. Nicely decorated.

I find it surprising how many of my Douglas County friends have never been to Alexander’s Greek Restaurant in Roseburg at 643 SE Jackson Street. Personally, Alexander’s is in my top three Greek restaurants in the U.S. Not that I know a lot about Greek food, because I always order the same thing. It’s just that Alexander’s does an exceptional job preparing a Gyro and Greek salad (pictured) just the way I like it. Alexanders has all the traditional Greek dishes. But the one I always select is the Gyro platter combination.

The Gyro (pronounced yee-ro) is ground beef mixed with lamb (traditional Gyro) cooked on a vertical rotisserie, then sliced and served wrapped in pita bread, along with tomato, onion and tzatziki. The platter includes an ice-cold delicious salad with Greek dressing. I usually add a Too Shy IPA.

I satisfied my craving Friday at Alexanders and encourage others to do likewise. Trust me when I write having a Greek restaurant like Alexanders is a privilege not many small towns can boast.

The food was fantastic! The food rivals the Greek cuisine that I have experienced in both New York and Chicago.
The service was spot on. I did witness other dinner's lodging complaints, the staff took care of said complaints quickly and cheerfully.
The atmosphere was your basic cafe, however it was clean. It appears that the staff care. I am fussy about clean. I was pleased when the dishes didn't have water spots.
I heard the staff talking about how busy the lunch hour was. I would recommend avoiding the lunch rush.

This is another place in Roseburg where I can get gluten free food! Since I have Celiac disease it can be hard finding restaurants that actually take this seriously, and Alexander's does. It's wonderful having an amazing Greek restaurant here, brings back memories of my Grandma's cooking!

This place is delicious and comfortable. The tables are well spaced so you dont feel squished. They have gluten free pita bread and are accommodating to celiacs they will make sure everything is clean before they cook to avoid cross contamination. Not to mention the inside decor is cute. 10/10 thanks for providing my first gluten free gyro, I haven't had one in 2 years
