Catch 22 Fish & Chips (Craft 22)

Fish had good flavor, but was over breadedClam chowder had a spice we didn't care for. Shrimp was okay

Dr. Seuss would be happy, but my cardiologist would not! I had the bluefish my wife had the shrimp baskets. Good food. I had tea and it was on point. The fish was really good fresh wonderfully done, not covered in batter. I would recommend this place, I plan on coming back again, and everyone should try their sauce. Everything is fresh and made daily.

The fish and chips here is delicious. Crisp, perfectly battered fish. Fries are delicious. There is malt vinegar at the table and they have the good ketchup if you need!Servers are super friendly and the atmosphere is a converted church (converted to something more useful now obviously). What more can you ask for?

Absolutely amazing food! My wife and I love coming whenever we have the chance. The fish is so crispy and delicious, and they come with some pretty dang good chips! Unique setting and friendly staff! ?

At first I was not sure about the menu. I grew up in Arizona and I'm not very knowledgeable about fish but the lady explained it to me and I ordered and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is amazing, the building is so cool. Just wish they were open more than they are because it's hard to catch them open but I'm glad I did. Amazing food

While the food is good, the upkeep is poor. There were flies on the windowsills. The salt & pepper shakers were sticky. The floors were dirty. The table we were at was sticky & the chairs had crumbs.Please consider deep cleaning soon. An establishment like this in a smaller community should not have this many places of concern to clean.

Not great customer service, their ordering process isn’t the best. The food was okay. They’d do better with waitresses, and having better customer service. Not the best experience. They’re trying to have “sit down dining” without the staff needed to do it. So you get seated and then from then on out you’re on your own. Nobody checks in to see if you need anything, how the food is etc. they encourage you to use their QR code to order instead of going to the bar to order…. But their online ordering system sucks.

So, ROSEBURG has the quasi new fish and chips places. We decided to check it out with some to-go food. Looked at the online menu with its huge fish portions and was thinking “yea right”. The ads always look better and bigger. Well——-this was every bit as pictured and tasted even better. Hope they stick around. Caveat: the sides , the little dishes look big, they are not, they are shallow and ask for double to assure having enough. Take out was called in and picked up ten minutes later. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks folks!

My first visit and I was very happy with the quality seafood. We got a large order to go and we enjoyed a family style feast so I got to try several dishes including my favorite of the batch: blackened salmon (red fish per the menu). Also really good was the seafood stew and shrimp cocktail! Great selection of beer and enjoyed one while we waited for our order. Took one star off due to price, but high price restaurant food seems to be the new norm, so guess I better get used to it?

if u want to pay the price of the that my mother paid for r food. to then have no communication That u have to pick ur food up at the cook window and order on my phone. we had questions and no one to ask and then when they relized that we were upset they were rude. but yes the food is good. except the apple fritters were not every good not even the second time around. and they didn't have any Carmel on it at all

First time visiting catch 22 for lunch. The blue fish (rock fish) was amazing, i would say best in Roseburg oregon. You certainly can't get any fresher. There staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Had coleslaw. Which was very fresh. Only reason not 5 stars. French fries were on the greasy side & not crisp, however the fries had great flavor. Absolutely recommend Catch 22. I got dinner portion of fish. Glad I did.

So tasty! A true diamond here in Roseburg. Shrimp cocktail was fresh, blue fish was moist and perfectly seasoned. Beer battered green beans are addicting. Best shrimp basket I’ve had. The bar put out some perfectly made mixed drinks.

Excellent Fish and Chips! We especially enjoyed the red fish (aka Salmon). The chips are unique and very tasty. The fried green beans are out of this world! Crispy with just a drizzle of sweet and sour sauce and jalapeno slices for just the right zip. So very delicious.

We had not not had the opportunity to try this place out until last night.. we were not disappointed, the fish & chips were great, I had the blackened and my husband had the battered. We also enjoyed some battered green beans while We waited for our dinner Service was great and the staff was friendly ?

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to dinner here, as we had heard about the great seafood. Indeed, the food was WONDERFUL! It was so immediately evident that the fish was fresh as could be. We also like the natural cut of the "chips!" We have been to many restaurants where orders are placed through an "app" scanned with a QR code at the table. That was no problem. The difference here is that the only "staff' visible is the bartender pulling double-duty. We seated ourselves and the bartender brought us our water and utensils. That was pretty much all the attention we got. Our table had a pager "buzzer" to let us know to pick up our food at the kitchen window. Given that this building was at one time a church, the atmosphere was deathly quiet, despite there being a large number of patrons. Perhaps the stained glass windows inspired that feeling. My wife and I felt out of place for wanting to laugh and really enjoy ourselves. Another downfall was -- and we don't know if this is expected of the diners there -- people busing their own tables. Is this expected? Is there no staff on duty to do even this? Once these bugs are worked out, perhaps the rating I have given will increase!
