I have been going into this establishment for approx. 15 years, I do not gamble so I just buy some cigarettes and occasional lottery tickets. In and out in about 10 minutes. I am never there long enough to get to know anyone, not part of the people that are there for long periods of time. I have a service animal, a dog. I had a conversation with one of the workers just about a week ago about my service animal and showed her his identification. Yesterday 9-1-23 I went in to purchase some product, standing in line at the counter a lady nicely commented on my dog and asked "can I pet your dog?" I replied, "he is a service animal, doesn't like to be petted by strangers very much, I prefer you don't" she was fine with it, it seemed, and let it go, there was a man standing next to her that suddenly leaned over my dog and yelled at him and then laughed about it, I guess trying to scare and intimidate my dog. I can think of no other reason to do that to any animal especially a service animal. I said "that is not funny, not in the least" then turned to the lady behind the counter and made my purchase, as I turned to leave I said to the man "after being told that my service animal doesn't like being petted, what you did was very rude and dumb, if you ever do that to my dog again, I will defend us" I was suddenly verbally attacked by some woman sitting at one of the machines, yelling at me I needed to show respect, and yes, she was yelling, it started an argument, I told her "it's none of your business, shut up and leave us alone" another fella about 6' 6 " maybe 300 pounds came up stood right in front of me and glared at me, I felt very uncomfortable, threatened and intimidated, and I admit that I used profanity and became part of the argument, anyone that knows anything about services animals knows that they are much more than just a pet, mine is my constant companion and has literally saved my life on several occasions, he is now 9 years old and is my family, my child and best friend, to watch a grown man abuse him got me pretty upset, as I type this today I just cannot understand that man's actions and the other people defending him. The man doing the yelling at an innocent dog put himself in danger, my dog in danger and me in danger. He is lucky he didn't get bit which would have been really bad for my animal. Unbelievably ignorant thing to do. Then the lady behind the counter, that knows me, we have talked many times, she always seemed polite came around the counter and told me "We don't want or need you in here" I did not start the problem and was verbally attacked by some very angry woman and intimidated by a very large man. Then told to leave. WOW. I think those people spend way too much time sitting in the dark staring at those screens gambling away what little money they don't have and should probably do something else with it, the stress of it is eating away at them. They all seemed to be a bit touched in the head. Very rude, I do not believe they understand what respect is. I am a disabled veteran and do not need to be treated in such a manner. After 15 years of going in there maybe twice a month. I will never go into that place again. Cannot go to a place that condones animal abuse and then protects the person that does the abuse. They are now off my radar. I suggest to everyone, if you are not part of the little click that makes up the community of that dark place, think twice before subjecting yourself to the mean, rude, aggressive and disrespectful crowd there. If you are not part of the "Den Group" they will gang up on you, even when they know they are wrong.

Went in this establishment on 5/4/23 bought 4 packs of cigarettes , charged 46.00 dollars. The cigarettes were out dated April 2022. Stell af. Won't be going there again.
