We went here based off all the shining reviews, but don't be fooled. We really wanted to like it, but the food we received was really bad. Most notably my husband's hazelnut shrimp pasta dish, which was labeled "chef's choice". The sauce was overly sweet, like a dessert type of sweet.. the taste reminded me of syrup, and it was a weird greyish color. Sweet does NOT pair well with shrimp/pasta/mushrooms.. yuck. I tried a bite and nearly gagged. It was nothing short of disgusting. My dish was average at best, it was something I could have made better at home. The bread sticks (we had to order them off the menu, because their pasta does not come with bread) were hard/stale at the ends. The waitress didn't even come back to ask if we were enjoying our food, she probably knew. We were charged an insane amount for what I just described. We won't be back. We don't have money to throw away.

My fiancé and I went to the Dockside for the first time last night. It was very welcoming, all of the staff were kind. Our server Milane (sorry if I misspelled your name beautiful) was such a breath of fresh air. Her energy was contagious. She was knowledgeable on the menu & drinks. She took her time to help me figure out my perfect mocktail .We most definitely will be returning. We had the the hazelnut shrimp penne & the lasagna. Both were great. Maybe a little more basil would cut some of the sweetness & brighten the flavors a bit. More seafood options not involving pasta would be a good addition as well.Thank you Dockside !

This restaurant opens 4 pm on Saturday and it was the perfect place to eat after a fun day of Halloweentown! The burgers were fresh and cooked to perfection, staff was very nice and attentive. I think I'll stop by again next year!

Food was great and portions were huge. The best Caesar salad I’ve ever had and the spaghetti was delicious. We had reservations and were seated right away. I had the witches brew drink and it was amazing, going to try and recreate it at home. Also try the fries you won’t be disappointed,Definitely recommend

Service impeccable! Worth the drive from Portland with a reservation. Menu was unique and affordable. Will be coming back just for the chocolate cake that would go well with a ? Toddy or an espresso. My waitress made me feel like an old friend. I apologize for forgetting her name...... oldtimers!Beautiful view of the mighty Columbia River huge area to walk riverside.

Wow, the food was amazing. We walked in and looked around and thought what great ambiance. The drinks were wonderful. Get the shark bite. The steak was perfect, mashed potatoes to die for. Our waitress was so friendly. Who would have thought one of the best meals I've ever had would be in this hole in the wall but it was. Will be back with more friends.

We drove an hour to eat here and we definitely weren't disappointed. We were welcomed right away. As we waited for our seats, the bartender came up to us and asked if we wanted anything to drink. The drinks we VABULOUS!!Our waitress was AMAZING. As busy as she was, she made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us great suggestions and was very personable. When the food arrived, it was warm and you could tell it didn't sit and wait under the heat lamp. When we took our first bite, we were in Heaven! It's been a LONG time since I've tasted food that good.We were concerned to drive an hour to be disappointed. I'm so glad we weren't and that they exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back!!!

Absolutely fantastic cocktails, the best you can get in st Helens these days. It's really fun to see the bartender being able to cut loose from the constraints of the old management and really get to be their own person. You can tell they have a passion for the craft. I always enjoy coming back.

I go there for the lemon drops martinis and ceaser salad. Every now and then I'll try a dish and with out fail in terrible. The last time I got the beef stroganoff at the recommendation of the waitress who also showed me a pic of the dish. Needless to say what was brought to me looked nothing like the pic she showed. It was extremely greasy and the sauce had broken down and they still severed it to me. It was horrible. Although she did discount my ticket. But I would have much happier with a good plate of food for once... they 1)they make the best lemon drop drinks.2) food is way over priced considering they don't even have a real chef cooking it.<3)my experience with the food at this place has been aweful !

I had the lasagna and im pretty sure it was just reheated in the microwave. The bottom layer of pasta was very tough and chewy. The overall flavor wasn't bad, but the texture made it close to inedible for me. On a positive note, my fiance did like her fettuccine.
