The Harvester Taproom, located in beautiful St. Paul is a bar/restaurant owned by Harv and Ester T. Proom - a local couple that enjoys dancing. I may have that wrong.
It's a pretty place, with a pleasant and attentive staff that tap dance around the room like you've never seen before to make sure you have a great experience. And the food? It is, of course, amazeballs! Harv and Ester really know what they are doing. And you should totally visit. Soon!

Not being a local really was a detriment waited 40 min for wings even though others came in after we ordered and were served first. Good list of tap beers but unfortunately won't try again.

Limited lunch menu. Grilled chicken pita sandwich - awful.
French fries and tater tots are good.
Atmosphere- boring, at best. Chairs- very uncomfortable.
If you live outside St. Paul, save the drive!

Harvester Taproom is hands down one of my favorite spots! The food is consistently delicious especially their french fry’s , the drinks are top-notch, and the service is always friendly and attentive. Whether you're dropping in for a casual meal or hanging out with friends, the vibe is welcoming and relaxed. Their trivia nights are an absolute blast—fun, well-run, and a great way to spend the evening. Highly recommend!

It's a farming community gathering place. It is families, farmers and visitors and everyone is welcome. Nice folks.

A group of 5. The food was mediocre for most of us, and the service was really slow and inattentive. It took about 30 minutes to get food, and then it came out at different times. The salsa and queso were watered down thin and nearly flavorless. Scared to eat the warm potato salad. We have eaten here several times before and have obviously gone back. No more, unless we just go for the pizza & beer. 🫤😢

Does anyone know what they are doing here? I have no idea why we keep giving this place a chance. Perhaps we just have high hopes that they will get it together. There was a time a couple of years ago when they had it figured out. Great drinks, food, and service. But that did not seem to last very long. We came in one day and that entire particular staff was gone. Since then the food sucks, the service is awful, and no one ever seems to know what's going on. Lazy staff sitting around on their phones, and drunken locals acting ridiculous. Good luck trying to get food. After waiting for an hour, it's straight trash. I think we've finally learned our lesson after 3 years to avoid this place. We tried. We gave it tons of chances. It simply just sucks. So sad. We really wanted this place to be something but it's just a dirty dive.
Blackened salmon sandwich bbq burger and bloody Mary all were fantastic. Great beers and the staff are great also. Relax and enjoy

Good food refined by the town drunk and his friends. This was promoted by a staff member that egged them on. Said, could have been a place i would return, not now.

Our first time here and probably won't return. Visited with my parents and husband recently. Arrived at 6pm dinner rush on a Friday and noticed the place was pretty empty for its size. Sat down and ordered our first round of drinks. While waiting for the drinks we noticed the staff congregating behind us at the bar and talking and light gossiping as if they had no work or were over staffed. When my drink arrived part of it was poured down my arm and in my lap. If you can't hold multiple drinks at once, it's alright to make two trips - my wet clothes wouldn't have minded a second trip. Once our order was taken our server walked back over to the staff huddled at the bar and asked them to catch her up on what she missed....while putting in our order. I understand some servers can multitask, but it got frustrating. Our order took a normal amount of time to come out, but the strange thing is all of our hot, warm food like pizza and shrimp skewers arrived before our soups and salads. My husband and I waited to eat till our salads came, but that was our preference. When we left closer to 7:30pm, more people had arrived, but it seemed the servers looked more stressed and as if they were burdened by the influx of customers. Food was alright, about the same level as a thirty year old sports bar.

Toby from the kitchen staff was rude and confrontational. The bar staff got my drinks right almost 50% of the time. . . You can do better elsewhere.

Nice place to eat. It was comfortable with a few different seating options. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Our food was delivered quickly. The food was good. The options were your staple breakfast fare. It was an enjoyable place to sit and have a meal and convo.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly.
