Was excited because my coworkers were talking about how good they were. So I ordered a rack of ribs, Pulled pork and garlic mash taters. All meat ewere dry.. even putting bbq sauce didnt help. Thew mash taters were tasteless no seasoning... strawberry lemonade was sweet but drinkable. Disappointing

They really missed it tonight on the food. Brisket sandwich was dry and tough. Rest of the dinners were OK. Was very disappointed as have been here B4 and all was good. Beer selection was great, but you gotta have good co sistent BBQ to keep me comimg back.

I went with family. I love brisket so tried that. It was awesome. Smoky good flavor. My son had the beef ribs and was very happy too. This is the best barbecue place in Salem. My favorite outside of Salem is the Wooden Nickel.

Super dry meat. Pulled pork is inedible. Super disappointed because I was hoping for a new go-to BBQ joint. 🫤 When I told the staff about it, the guy asked if I wanted a refund. It would have been nice to be offered something else to eat.

I ordered the 1 meat 2 sides. I was given 3 ribs that had maybe just under a tablespoon of meet altogether.😒The coleslaw tasted just like the coleslaw kit you get at Winco & the baked potato was dark brown. I had to doctor everything up in order to eat it but I just couldn't handle that brown baked potato🤢I really wish I could say something positive, but unfortunately my experience was only negative😪

The brisket and pastrami was excellent with great sauces to go with it. The coleslaw was just chopped cabbage as far as u could tell. It is a lunch counter so no service to speak of.

Only a block away from Willamette University! I have some friends attending the college who took me here for lunch after a red eye flight from Texas. We got the baby back ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, chili bowl, and Goliath burger. The BBQ sauce they made in-store brought out the tenderness in the smoky, savory meats. Don't be scared if the meat is a little pink on the inside, beef is internally clean due to its thick muscle content blocking off bacteria from entering the deep tissues. If you would like it fully cooked they are happy to accommodate your palate.
The bbq was dry. Sides were lackluster. This will not be a place we return to.

I ordered thru grubhub The pulled chicken was bad no sauce the bun was limp and soggy the fries were limp no better then nancys burger place I would not go back. Poor quality just wasn't that good

The food is phenomenal and the service is also great! My favorite is the tri-tip sandwich. Usually very juicy and fulling. Overall, I'm going with a 9.7/10 -0.3 for inconsistent amounts of meat in sandwiches (which is really just me being picky about not getting the full amount of meat I want ;)
