We ordered 3 drinks, two appetizers of (guacamole and also the plantains stuffed with chicken) and for main courses we ordered chicken flautus, costillas herneadas (ribs) and Camerones à la diablas (shrimp). The unique Paloma's cocktail was delicious. A very unique way of making a Paloma. The appetizers were delicious. The pork ribs and accompanying rice were extremely flavorful as was the shrimp. Despite a couple miscommunications with server, A great addition to downtown.

It's a lovely restaurant. The food is good and the service is outstanding. Our server, Cesar, was great.

Really a nice gem of a restaurant in Salem. We will definitely make it a regular stop. We loved the appetizer sampler, the flautas and the pork ribs. Really nice mocktail menu too!

We had an amazing server, Cesar, who was attentive and provided us suggestions from them menu as this was our first time visiting this restaurant. The whole experience was good, and I recommend a visit.

Was very pleased with our visit to Adobe, I loved the decor and overall ambiance. Service was great. Food was above expectations and beautiful to look at. Planning on coming back and sound salsa lessons!

Delicious & friendly. 3 of us went for dinner and the food was great, the cocktails creative and delicious, and the wait staff was doing a great job. We started with the tostones (plantain), then had a variety of tacos veggie & pork, then dessert.

Not impressed with the food at all. Ordered a medium rare ribeye and it was well done. Rice and beans had no flavor. Drinks were average at best. I don’t expect this place to be open long. Overall spent $100 on cafeteria type food. Also, the vibe/atmosphere is very confusing. Not sure what they’re aiming for in a very competitive downtown Salem market.

I brought my sister here for her birthday brunch and was disappointed. The restaurant overall wasn’t very busy. One of our dishes was missing items and not as described on the menu, lacking both flavor and presentation. The tres leches pancakes were especially underwhelming—dry instead of the rich, soaked pancakes we expected. Even with only a couple of other tables seated, the food still took longer than expected. Overall, not the experience we hoped for, especially on a special occasion.

Wonderful service and fast seating! My meal came out at a pretty standard time (not fast or slow). Food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the plantains. Plating could use work but not bad.

We had a reservation for 6:45pm, and did not get seated until 7:10. We actually didn't get greeted by the hostess until 7:00pm, after the large party in front of us were already seated. We ordered our drinks upon getting seated, and did not receive them until 7:40. Our food did not come out until about 8:30 and by this point we were just kind of over it. My husband and I didn't even want to order another drink because we didn't want to get stuck there for another 30 min after our food was finished. The waitress was kind, and apologized for the wait, but we also felt this was discouraging considering the restaurant seemed to only be at about a 40%-50% occupancy including the large party. Sadly, I don't think we will go back to try again. The food was okay, but the overall nothing about our experience left us wanting a redo.

I have fond memories of La Capitale in this location and it really is a beautiful space. We went for lunch today at 12:30 and were the only patrons the whole time. The best part of the meal was the mocktail which was delicious but also $12. I got the battered cod tacos for my main dish. The presentation was nice I enjoyed the flavors but the fish was a bit over-cooked. The plantains were meh and kind of expensive for 6 slices (yet there was more sauce and guacamole than would ever have fit on them. So like some chips would have been nice.) My lunch date got chilaquiles that looked pretty good. Overall nice place, good service, a bit pricy for the quality/quantity.

The space is inviting, open and with great decor. The food was on point! Special shout out to the Chicharrons....stop it! Just stop it! I can't stop eating them! Service was stellar. The bartender was knowledgeable, has great recommendations and knew her stuff. The owner stopped by and shared some of her journey and passion with us. What a delightful night!

Bland, bland food. I specifically asked for no guac on my tacos due to an allergy, but they still added it. When I sent it back, it took nearly 20 minutes to get new ones, and by then my table had already finished eating. Service was painfully slow overall—my friend ordered the hot cheese appetizer with chips, but the chips didn’t arrive until 20 minutes later, by which time the cheese had hardened.
The saving grace was our server—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely apologetic. She was fantastic, and I don’t blame her at all. The real issue lies with the kitchen. They either need to pick up the pace or hire more help. The drinks were good!
I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it.
