Tried AlAqsa in Salem and honestly, it was amazing. I grabbed a coffee and the lamb shawarma plate, and both hit the spot. The lamb was tender, full of flavor, and tasted like real Palestinian home cooking. The sides were fresh and everything was seasoned just right.
The vibe is welcoming and the owners are super friendly — you can feel the pride they put into their food.

I used to come here all the time been coming here for years. I recently moved out state and boy do I miss this place their food is always amazing and authentic the owners are so friendly and always so polite the prices even with inflation are always so reasonable. I noticed a lot of negative reviews that are just plain wrong these people are very kind and the food is always delicious I’ve never in all my years of going here had a negative experience here if I ever moved back this would be my first stop
