The service was a bit slow, we ordered off the Happy Hour menu. Potato dish/Carrot dish/Chicken dish. All seemed to have a bit of heat, which did not enhance the lack of flavor in the food. Perhaps next time I would order something different. Oh yes, they were out of the Spanakopita, which was disappointing as well.
Meat overdone. Asked for medium rare was medium rare sent it back and came back almost raw!
It's usually good. Tonight was really really good. we got the steak bites, classic and panco crusted cod . Absolutely delicious .
Bret, the wait help, had an honest smile (as opposed to a told to smile) and was extremely helpful on gluten issues. We really appreciated his good work. The carrots on the appetizer list were outstanding. Nicely done.
We had a slight mix up on our order, but the way the staff handled it was beyond commendable! Great food and very personable staff and a great atmosphere...we will be back for sure!
We had an amazing dinner while enjoying the patio seating and beautiful warm weather but nothing was better than our service. Which is saying a lot as our food was delicious 5*** . Our server was outstanding . Thank you for an amazing Birthday dinner .
We chose Amadeus after discovering our usual go to restaurant in Salem had closed, we were not disappointed! Wait staff was great and the food was excellent, we sat at one of the alcove window tables and enjoyed the passing parade on Liberty St. I could see that the noise level might be a little different in the main part of the dining room.. We were seated promptly and they accommodated my request for the window table, food, drinks and staff are top of the line
The food was delicious and the service outstanding. It was are anniversary and we were happy we picked Amadeus to celebrate.
This is one of the nicer restaurants in Salem. We were here just the two of us for my husband's birthday dinner. Food was presented nicely and tasted fantastic. I had seared scallops, my husband the brisket Mac and cheese. We shared the Marion berry cobbler for dessert. Happy hour drinks! Service was excellent someone always checking on us.
We had a nice dinner here. Been here a few times. We like the less creamy, saucy dishes. Chendu spiced lamb is really good. Well balanced and not heavy. We have had this before. First time trying the pork chops. Cooked well and a very nicely balanced dish. Wine is not much of a markup and a decent selection. Wine came a bit warm to the table this time. Asked for it to be chilled for ten minutes and they did and payed attention to the time. Very nice. They have a good cocktail program also

We had a birthday party for 14 in the private dining room. Everything went smoothly - from making the reservation, to communicating about decorations and an outside cake, to the food & drink service, to closing out multiple tabs for our large group. Everyone enjoyed their food and none of it felt rushed. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and my husband had a wonderful birthday celebration! Deeply appreciate Amadeus!
Dillon was out server and took incredible care of us! Food was spectacular, bottled wine prices were fair, and the bartender made a killer dirty martini!
Tuesday night small plates are great. Can try several different items without getting too full.
I've eaten here many times and it's always been great, both the food and service. But this time it was not the case. I ordered a bottle of wine and they did not have it. The server brought out a different bottle and said it was very similar to what I ordered. I said no I was familiar with that wine and did not want it. He kept pushing that wine and I ordered a different one. Then he came out with a carafe of wine and said he decanted it for us. He did not pour it. I have never experienced this, where the bottle was not brought to the table, opened in front of me, and a taste offered. How do I know I even got the wine I ordered? We had our appetizers, which were excellent, but then our plates were never cleared. Our entrees came out and then they finally took our appetizer dishes away along with our silverware. We had to ask for new silverware and they only brought one set. Had to ask for a second set (2 people you know). I ordered the lamb and although the flavor was excellent the meat was very tough. And during the entire meal our water glasses were never refilled. Meanwhile, our server was giving very attentive service to the 2 tables on either side if us.
My husband's order, which was essentially macaroni and cheese was OK. My dish was pretty awful. The beet salad was excellent.
