The older blonde lady that works the counter is really rude and has no customer service skills. I ordered 4 carnitas tacos w/ no onion. I made sure to tell her I was allergic and she served them with onions. I returned them and explained I couldn't eat them because I'm allergic and she kinda rolled her eyes and scoffed at me. She made another plate and gave me carne asada. I didn't even bother asking for her to fix them anymore. This is about the third time i go here and every time i get horrible service from her. You're better off going to any of the other food trucks that are next to this one..

Not to be confused with Taco Time Northwest which has stores in Washington state. The taco sauce comes in little plastic packets (definitely not made that morning). There is no natural soft taco. There are a zillion Mexican restrurants around, go get take out from one of those.

They gave me a HUGE box of food for the quesadilla box I definitely recommend. It was very fast and really nice workers. I definitely recommend supporting!

Food wasn't really good. I ordered them through door dash and of course they missed some of my items. I'm not sure I will return.

As one of the more well known taco trucks in the Salem area, I've had the pleasure of visiting Los Peques over the years and have come away with the following:* The big draw for most first timers is the $1 tacos. However, These tacos are tiny and are more like bite sized taquitos. Considering how inflated things are in today's economy, I'd say that's still considered a good deal.* There is plenty of outside seating for people to enjoy. Plastic picnic benches might not seem appealing but this is still more seating than most mobile taquerias in the city. They are not weather proof though, which is an added damper to the already chilly evenings in Salem.* Calling ahead of time is actually recommended. One never knows the line situation here (which is rare as it gets later) but if they answer, it means the truck is still likely in operation.* In terms of taco meats, they're limited to only al pastor, asada, trip, lengua, pollo, and chorizo. Sorry cabeza and carnitas fans, you'll have to sit this one out. Out of all the meats, I think the al pastor, asada, and chorizo are the ones to get.* This is also one of the only taqueria food trucks where asada fries are available. If they're really feeling nice, they'll sub out the asada for a different meat, except perhaps lengua. The latter is going to cost way more than $6.* Most people sleep on the quesadillas and tortas, but I think they're the better choice for a heartier meal. Tacos are still by far their most popular product, but I think they deserve a mention for folks who are miffed by the portions.* Lastly, they could really pick up the pace. Line or no line, they're kind of on the slower side. Nice folks, but because they take such a long time, it's not particularly ideal for anyone in a hurry, standing in the rain, or hangry.

The food was so yummy and fresh, loved the consumé and the homemade tortillas. The employees are very nice and polite. I will totally come back again ?

I would give this less stars if I could. Left my phone on the table and this kind man returned the phone to the the lady behind the counter. She lied and first said it wasn't the right phone, then she gave it to some old ladies, then her coworker might have it and I should come back in 2 hours. I did the Find My Iphone and the dinging could be heard from her cash register. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Waited 30 min for 10 tacos, I was the only one at the truck. There tacos are also 1.50 now....will not be returning and will advice my friends and family to avoid. The tacos I ordered we also a*** they were cold and unflavored. With a bunch of other stuff I didn't ask for, when I ordered all they asked was onion and cilantro okay? I said said yes thats fine, when I got then get had a pile of jalapeño and radish and chuncks of onion. If you want a better taco try taco bell you will get better bang and flover than this place.

Visited this place after loading up my tanker at Ventura Foods across the street. I ordered up two Birria tacos. They were very flavorful! Not soggy like other joints. The green and red salsas were pretty. The tortillas are hand-made!! They were so tasty that I ended up ordering up two Al Pastor tacos. I was not disappointed! Those suckers were delicious. Pineapple bits included! Come by and grab a couple, you will not be disappointed.
